Fashion designer Marc Jacobs debuted his Spring 2010 collection during the Mercedes-Benz fashion Week in September 2009. He complimented each whimsical creation with a nude colored OPI Nail Lacquer on every runway model. Delicate lace has always been one of the more feminine fabrics, inspired by the 1920s, lace has been making major comebacks over the past few years, however this season lace is teamed with ruffles and 80s silhouettes. Lace in shades of black, white, creame and dusky rose set the palette for a soft and romantic look. Pearls are worn delicately over lace fabrics and this season's velvet fabric makes a comeback in purples and green shades.

Not only does it work, but you look extra chic, wearing it over black tights, just as Zooey Deschanel does in this pic. Add patent red, purple, yellow or whatever color (should keep it a solid color) boots/flats/pumps/sandals/peeptoe shoes, and now you have an extra chic look!
