It turns out, the difference between men and women's salaries is smaller than we thought — as long as those salaries aren’t very big to begin with. A new study from PayScale.com compared salaries across 90 different jobs, adjusting for any outside factors that might affect the salary (the location of the job, the worker’s education, etc.) except for the worker’s gender. What they found was surprising — to see the results, read on.

Serendipity ClothingCall it what you will: Bohemian, Boho Chic, Hippie Chick… the hot style that’s in right now is all about free-spirited, feminine, and eclectic clothing and accessories. The resurgence of Bohemian fashions as the latest popular style is due thanks in part to actresses Sienna Miller, Mary-Kate Olsen and Lindsay Lohan. When I was in college, I read a book that changed my life. It was Susan Brownmiller's tome, Against Our Will: Men, Women, and Rape, which explained rape as an act of power instead of just lust. Don’t get me wrong, I love a high heel stiletto boot just as much as the next girl, but with a 1 year old baby on my hip, it’s far from practical. Flat boots are so comfortable and can be worn with your favorite jeans tucked in, or with a dress for a more casual look. And there are lots of different kinds to choose from; below are three popular styles: riding boot, a cozy knit, and suede over the knee- for prices high and low.
