Today is Day 2 of my week of blogging about WorkOut Gear. My focus on this Tuesday is: Clothing.
I can remember the days when a pair of grungy sweats and an old tee were all I could think about when planning a jog.

I was reading through all my fitness blogs this morning, and stumbled across these great fitness tips created by Valerie Waters. If you have never heard of Valerie Waters, she is personal trainer to stars such as Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Cindy Crawford, Richard Gere, Elizabeth Berkley, Benicio Del Toro, Jim Carey, etc... She has also put together one of the best workout programs, The Red Carpet Ready System.

Dear Diary,
For my birthday this year, my daughter (the dear) purchased a week of personal training at the local health club for me.
Although I am still in great shape since being a high school football cheerleader 43 years ago, I decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and give it a try. I called the club and made my reservations with a personal trainer named Belinda, who identified herself as a 26-year-old aerobics instructor and model for athletic clothing and swim wear.

Ok, so I really want to get in a post before I run out of time before I leave tomorrow before dawn for my trip to SLC for my friend's wedding. I am very proud to report that I have exercised as I planned for two weeks, every day (I will double check later to make sure that's true) since my boyfriend's visit! Who hoo!

POOR Miss Piggy. Like most aging stars in Hollywood, that prima donna pig, along with most of her Muppet pals, has struggled to find substantial roles. Almost nobody under the age of 30 remembers “Pigs in Space.” All everyone wants to talk about is this Hannah Montana person.

Over the years, I have bought various exercise equipment only to use them as very expensive clothes dryers (an ab roller bar thingy makes and EXCELLENT sweater dryer). It's not that none of them worked I just didn't work on any of them. You can buy enough equipment to create your own Curves, but unless you USE them, nothing happens.

Project codename wackdoodle - I think I'm the newest and squishiest Transformer.
However, I maybe the smartest Transformer cause I successfully got out of my expensive gym membership without paying any penalties. Go wack, it's your birthday (thank goodness it isn't - don't need to be 37 yet)!
