I have been losing steam at the gym lately - I can no longer handle my current playlist.. I have lots of 80s music and some indie rock that doesn't really make me want to run..
Does anyone have any good suggestions for a new playlist??

I am one of those people who listens to music I wouldn't ordinarily listen to while working out. I like low key music at home or listening to the music in the car, but I need serious bass to power through a workout. I've been shuffling to these songs in particular recently:
Never Ever (Ciara)
Ego (Beyonce)
Knock You Down (Keri Hilson)
Forever (Drake)
Life In Marvelous Times (Mos Def)
Empire State of Mind (Jay Z)
Whatca Say (Jason DeRub)

So, I was still in the midst of reading Breaking Dawn & couldn't put it down so I started with a 22 minute "warm up" so that I could continue reading. I did 22 minutes of the bike at a difficulty of 6-8...mostly 8. It got a good sweat going so that's good.

Two pounds a week is the typically advised weight loss, but pro Tracy Anderson says she has worked out a way to safely shed even faster!
“It’s perfectly healthy,” the former dancer, 33, tells Us of her plan. And the results of her regime speak for themselves in the super-fit physiques of clients Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna, not to mention her own transformation (the 5-foot mom dropped from 140 to 95 pounds).

Kick the winter weight
By JASON NARK
The leaves are falling and so is your motivation to go outside and jog or do that weird-ass power-walking thing.
If you're thinking about joining a gym, but dread the monotony of treadmills and nautilus machines with Justin Timberlake pumping through the speakers, we compiled a few exercises to do indoors that can shed pounds and repel boredom. Thanks goes to Maurice Orlando, fitness director at The Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club, for the following tips.

I have to haul ass to do cardio because I get bored easily. This playlist makes my workout go by much quicker.
**This is a random selection, but I need upbeat songs to make me move**
1) Sandstorm --Darude
2) Maggie May -- Rod Stewart
3) Stop -- Spice Girls (when i'm running at home, i do the dance too!

I've been doing a couple miles on the treadmill just about every day this week. I got my iPod and my playlist and a walking partner, so all is well. But I find that after I walk I'm sore in my calves and even in my arms (maybe from swinging while I walk?).
