I love me some mashed potatoes, especially on Thanksgiving. The problem is that this dish is usually overloaded with tons of butter and cream, which can be a big problem if you're trying to stay healthy. One way I make my mashed potatoes healthier is by using Yukon Gold or Yellow Finn potatoes instead of the old stand-by, Russet potatoes.

Forget the supernatural: In Kristen Stewart's next project, the New Moon star is taking a deeply human turn, playing a troubled teenager in the indie flick The Yellow Handkerchief, due in theaters in February. Costarring William Hurt, Mario Bello and Eddie Redmayne, the movie explores the relationships between three strangers who embark on a road trip through post-Katrina Louisiana. Stewart plays Martine, a teen who hopes to escape her family, while Hurt plays Brett Hanson, a man who has to choose between his ex-wife (played by Bello) or what's next."The part of Kristen in Twilight is completely different from the one she plays in The Yellow Handkerchief, which is particularly interesting for Kristen's fans all over the world," says the film's Oscar winning producer Arthur Cohn.

About 50 guests came out over the weekend to celebrate Heidi Klum and Seal’s son Johan’s 3rd birthday at their Los Angeles-area home with a train-themed party.

I loved the way my yellow leggings looked with lace tights, so I wanted to show more of them, cause my black pencil skirt was too long ;) I also like the combination of yellow/grey as much as yellow/black, so this striped black-and-grey dress is ideal for them. Horizontal stripes are not too flattering? Don't know, don't care.

While shopping for a dress for my sister's friend's wedding, I vehemently promised myself that I wouldn't buy anything else other than that. I should've vehemently told my mom too, since she ended up encouraging(she actually took me to the shop stall thrice until I relented) me to buy stuff for myself. The consolation though is that I ended up buying stuff for my favourite aunt, favourite cousin and favourite goddaughter (I only have one :P).
