Moviefone convinced a bunch of celebs to take some candid photos. Ang Lee was one of the chosen few and for some reason Jake Gyllenhaal made himself look really goofy in Ang's pictures. The candids included pre-party pics, getting ready for the big event and after party shots. Oscar Pregnancy Rumors?

Forget the Britney rumors. Many of you are wondering if these two were trying to cover up baby bumps last night. I happen to think Sandra Bullocks dress is beautiful but I wish her hair and eyebrows were less extreme looking. She did love to keep her hands in those pockets on her dress. As for Naomi's dress, she does look a little fuller in the hips and the color certainly drowns her out, but she's still a beauty and I'm thinking they are both baby free for now.

Madonna Hits The Oscars

....and she doesn't quite fit in. You can tell by some of these pics that the Queen of the Dance floor may not really mix well with the acting crowd. She is dripping in some seriously beautiful diamonds and of course we can't forget that Kabbalah bracelet. Guy made sure to be at her side, but something about her is totally off and I think it shows in these pics.

Oscar Roundup

Kudos to Jon Stewart for a job well done even though he is already getting criticized as a host. They say the big stars just don't get him. Critics can be so harsh.

I loved some of his clever jokes like the Dick Cheney shot Bjork, the Walk the Line was Ray for white people and then the recruiting for Scientology - very funny Jon Stewart style. He was quick and smart and should be happy with his performance. Hopefully it will reflect in the ratings which we will know more about in the morning. Here were some of the evenings highlights and fun times:

Poor Jennifer Garner almost spills on the stage twice but laughs it off by letting us know she does her own stunts.

Philip looks very ready to accept his award from Hilary Swank. He then gave one of the most touching speeches about his Mom. What a nice guy.

Jack Nicholson gives the upset of the evening as Crash won Best Picture. Congrats to Crash.

Oscar Couples

Hollywood couples looked their finest tonight. Here were the few that I though really shined.

Yes, J Lo was looking her finest and even Marc cleaned up for the big event (although he still does nothing for me). Other worthy things to note: Nicole sitting next to Keith at the awards during the show but we did not see him on the red carpet. We also don't know if Ben Affleck joined presenter/wife Jennifer Garner at the show. Hilary Swank walked the carpet solo but she looked to be a wearing her wedding ring unless it was a huge diamond by some designer. We're hoping it was a sign of her and Chad reconciliation but who knows - it could have been a ring on loan for the evening. Cash Warren was by Jessica Alba's side but like the gentleman he is, he let her do her thing. Hopefully more couple news will be available soon so stay tuned.

Oscar Arrivals

Wow what an evening. More to come on the actual show but here's the red carpet round up. Nothing crazy to report on the E! pre-show. Issac was on his best behaviour and did not grab any boobs and stayed away from the underwear questions. Smart move Issac. Here are a few of my favorites!

These girls were having a blast on the red carpet. Reese knew it was her night and you could tell. Jessica Alba continued to be her sexy self and we were happy to see Jennifer Garner in her first really big appearance looking fabulous. Motherhood seems to be treating her well (she even handled her on stage almost trip very gracefully).

Jennifer's diamonds were insane. She did her classic look and as always she looks beautiful. Nicole looks super skinny but that dress is a beauty and we expected nothing less from her. Salma's curves looked amazing in this dress which was one of my favorites of the evening.

Sorry to say these were probably my least favorite (keep in mind I am only talking about the Oscar red carpet folks for now). Both Keira and Charlize look stunning as far as makeup and overall super star status but I am not a fan of the mermaid style dress on Keira or the huge bow on Charlize.

Matt Damon to Join the Kennedy Family

Matt Damon's acting is about to get political: he's rumored to star in a biopic about Robert Kennedy, as Bobby himself, JFK's younger brother. The subject of the young senator was recently taken on in 2006's Bobby, but this movie, based on the Evan Thomas biography Robert Kennedy: His Life, will actually focus on the man himself more than his tragic assassination.

Damon is nominated for an Oscar this year for playing another real-life figure, but portraying RFK is undoubtedly the most formidable challenge. The actor certainly has the chops, though, and I personally think he'd be fantastic as a charismatic young politician - what say you?

Robin Williams and Elijah Wood Getting Happy Again

Ready for some more Arctic cuteness? Good, because there's a sequel to animated penguin film Happy Feet on the way, with Robin Williams and Elijah Wood in talks to reprise their roles.

In Happy Feet 2, Williams will again voice Ramon and Lovelace, while Wood will voice main character Mumble. There aren't any script or plot details yet, but I can already envision Mumble and Gloria showing their baby penguins how to sing and dance. Hopefully, the sequel lives up to the original - the sweet film was not just a visual treat, it won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2006.
