Does Madonna Belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
This picture is a good depiction of why some rock and roll purists object to Madonna's inclusion into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Compared to her fellow inductees this year — or even just other rockers like Iggy Pop (pictured) — it does seem like the Queen of Pop might be out of place.
However, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson was inducted several years ago and the Hall of Fame is the appropriate place to permanently honor music giants, a category Madonna clearly falls into.

Fellow inductees include John Mellencamp and Leonard Cohen.
