Angelina Loves Young Brad Just as Much as the Rest of Us
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie didn't win at the Critics' Choice Awards, but it was still a busy night for the power couple. After lighting up the red carpet, they signed posters and mingled with fellow actors like Brad's Button costar Taraji Henson. Angelina also mentioned her plans to take on fewer projects in the future and gushed about Brad's performance in the movie.

The Stars Choose to Keep the Party Going
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided one red carpet was enough for them last night, but many other celebrities headed to the afterparty once the Critics' Choice Awards were over. Aaron Eckhart looked very happy after Dark Knight scored a few wins, including a moving one for his costar Heath Ledger. Presenters Josh Brolin and Kate Beckinsale cozied up to their spouses, and gorgeous Freida Pinto had a huge smile on her face after Slumdog Millionaire took home five awards including best picture, director, and young actor.
Trend Alert: Critics' Choice Chic Updo's
Last night at the 2009 Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, actresses Eva Longoria, Penelope Cruz, Kate Beckinsale, Angela Bassett, Kristin Scott Thomas and Evan Rachel Wood all arrived on the red carpet with their hair pulled back in chic updo's.
Even Angelina Jolie decided to go for a swept-up sleek ponytail, something we don't typically see on her when she's making a formal appearance. Out of all of these hairstyles, I like the Penelope's classic look the best and Evan's drapey and too-thick tendril the least.

Dev & Danny's Sensational Success With Slumdog Millionaire
British director Danny Boyle's latest movie Slumdog Millionaire swept the board at the Critics' Choice Awards last night, winning five awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Writer and Best Composer. Best Young Actor/ Actress (under 21) was won by the movie's star Dev Patel, who you'll most likely know best for his part as clueless Anwar in Skins. Dev didn't make it to the awards last night, as he's in London promoting the movie, but no doubt he'll be blown away by the movie's success!
The Critics Pick Heath, Anne, Milk and Slumdog Millionaire
First the people chose then last night the critics awarded an A-list crowd of actors, writers and directors with their favorites. Jason Alexander opened the event asking Brad and Angelina to adopt him before Ben Stiller took home the first award of the night for Tropic Thunder as the Best Comedy. The most moving moment was when Heath Ledger won and director Chris Nolan accepted his award with a standing ovation from the crowd.
Angelina, Brad, Penelope & More Need No Red Carpet Criticism
Things got a little more fancy between Wednesday and Thursday in LA, between the People's Choice Awards and last night's Critics' Choice Awards. The red carpet had a few more gowns and a bit more glamour last night all leading up to Sunday's Golden Globe Awards — don't forget to fill out your ballot! Of course Brad and Angelina turned the most heads with their head to toe beauty and cozy posing.
Trend Alert: Knee Skimming Dresses
Last night the 2009 Critics Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles celebrating the stars of the silver screen. Many of Hollywood's biggest names got dressed up and hit the red carpet. One of the most emerging trends that I've noticed (beyond credit crunch supporting floor sweeping gowns) is the knee skimming dress.
