Interview: Model Olivia Inge

Catching up with Somerset born, five foot eleven model Olivia Inge after the Ashley Isham Show was one of the the highlights of this season's fashion week for me.

Whilst the high-spirited, fiesty model and socialite was getting a glossy, deep purple manicure (Nails Inc's Belgravia Place - of course I had to ask), we chatted about the first time she wore makeup (clubbing one night in South Africa), her contributing editor's role on her sister's Cult Beauty Website, her t-shirt that had a photo of two bare breasts on it and all about her deep, dark beauty secrets.

What's your secret to beautiful skin and hair?
Right now I'm using a John Frieda conditioner for ginger's called Radiant Red Colour Magnifying Conditioner that I love. Also, the blue kind of Kersastase Shampoo (Bain Bio Recharge) is brilliant. For my skin, I adore ILA Face Oil.

What are your favourite beauty products?
I can't live without Diorshow Mascara or the new bath oils from Neom!

What's your guilty pleasure?
Just one? I can't decide between sex and hot baths (she giggles).

What has been your favourite makeup look from a fashion show?
This season I was in the Jasper Conran show and I wore a really great red lipstick.

Melbourne Fashion Week, A/W 2009: Alice McCall

Alice McCall is one of my favourite Australian designers. Her quirky yet feminine designs have already been a big hit at Topshop where she created a popular diffusion range. This weekend she showed off her Autumn designs down under as part of Melbourne Fashion Week. Her line included fun mini dresses with funky patterns and classic body con LBDs. She gave floaty pieces edge with chain applique and statement rings.

Accessories took more prominence this season with slouchy shoulder bags and chain handle shoppers. All of the models wore strappy heels with bright yellow socks, which is a look I might start copying now! Click through to see the rest of Alice's pieces.

Paris Fashion Week Beauty: The Haute Hits and Misses

And so, Paris Fashion Week comes to a close. Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen - OK, especially McQueen - all showed their visions for Fall 2009. Since Parisian shows tend to be more over-the-top and wildly creative than their New York counterparts, there's plenty to see here. If the trends translate to the sidewalk from the runway, expect to see matte red lips and updos galore this Fall. And maybe, just maybe, some terrifying clown lips.

Alexa, Milla, Jess and Eva Say Au Revoir to Paris Fashion Week

As Paris Fashion Week comes to a close, fashion-loving celebs have flocked to the French capital to get their last taste of the Autumn/Winter collections. Alexa Chung swapped the premieres of London for the Louis Vuitton front row alongside Fashion Week devotee Milla Jovovich who wore her hair in a loopy bun. Over at Miu Miu, Jessica Alba covered her shoulders in feathers while Eva Mendes blew a kiss to the cameras as she left the show.
