Inspired: Chanel's Dimensional Blooms
I just stumbled across images from the Chanel Spring/Summer Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week, which was utterly dreamlike, like a giant pop-up book of bursting, white, paper blooms. An arrangement of 7,000 paper roses, daises, petals, and leaves wound their way around the Pavillon Cambon Capucines, which took a total of 4,800 hours to assemble. While I'd simply die and go to heaven to live in a space like this, it's too time-consuming a project for me.

Paris Fashion Week closed with a bang on Thursday with presentations by Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu. The younger sister of Prada seemed to come of age this season with an exotic themed collection. There was a very glamorous feel to the Autumn line with sleek silhouettes, pencil skirts and sparkly embellishment.

Model and Mum Milla Jovovich has had a busy week in Paris. She has attended enough shows to tire even the biggest fashion editors and has had a killer wardrobe throughout. Hannah Macgibbon took Chloe back to it's classic roots for Autumn 2009 picking up where Phoebe Philo left off. This was her second collection for the French design house which has been a bit rocky over the past few seasons with many changes at the top. There was plenty of soft tailoring on show with oversized boyfriend blazers, and baggy trousers.
Kate and Jamie Enjoy a Little More Fashion Week Revelry
Kate Moss left the Ritz hotel in Paris this afternoon after yet another evening of parties. She wore a silver gown to walk the red carpet with a dressed up Jamie at Fendi's VIP party last night, where Kate downed a couple drinks and danced while watching Beth Ditto perform on stage. In typical Kate style, it seems like she's enjoying the bashes more than the actual clothes during Fall Fashion Week in both France and England — leading some to speculate that she's putting in face time ahead of landing another big campaign.

As Paris Fashion Week bids us adieu, Marc Jacobs fashioned a feast of a finale. With an eclectic mix of baroque, volume, and — you guessed it — the '80s, Fall's Vuitton babe is divinely decked. This collection was not shy on color; crimson, canary yellow, salmon, and emerald created a robust palette, while nude and black balanced.
