24's Kiefer Sutherland Saunters into London
Kiefer Sutherland looked handsome in his suit as he returned to his hotel after an evening out in London last night, having partied at Claridges with costars Annie Wersching and Carlos Bernard the previous day. He won't be in town for long though, as the cast are on the road promoting 24, stopping off in Germany this week and attending the TCA panels in LA last week. Having earned his spot on my top shirtless shots of 2008, Kiefer Sutherland wrapped up warm in New York last night, for his appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Now a proud owner of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kiefer will be making weekly visits into our living rooms from Monday 12th January, when 24 Day 7 airs on Sky1 at 9pm: check out the trailer after the jump.
Kiefer and Costars Celebrate 24 Finale
Kiefer Sutherland was full of smiles at the screening for the finale of 24 season seven yesterday, despite his recent troubles. He was joined by costars Cherry Jones, Sprague Grayden, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Elisha Cuthbert, Annie Wersching and Carlos Bernard at the Wadsworth Theater in Los Angeles, as well as this season's baddy Jon Voight. We've got to wait a few weeks until we see the season finale here in the UK.
Kiefer's Bringing 24 Season Eight to New York
Keifer Sutherland's in New York this week for the Fox Upfronts presentations, and he took some time out to enjoy lunch at Da Silvano in the West Village yesterday. While our friends in America have already seen the season seven finale of 24, we've got to wait until Monday for the closing double bill. I'm already looking forward to the next season, and it sounds like Kiefer will be spending a lot more time in NYC thanks to season eight of the show, saying:

Are You Excited For 24: Redemption Prequel?
Kiefer Sutherland looked suitably Jack Bauer-esque in his aviators as he strolled through NYC yesterday, making me even more excited for the return of 24.
The two-hour telefilm bridging show, 24: Redemption (formerly 24: Exile) will serve as prequel to Day 7 and will air on 23rd November in the States, but Sky One is still teasing us here in the UK by not announcing our air date. They have advertised it as coming in November though, so not long now!
Kiefer's Already a Star in His Dad's Eyes
Kiefer Sutherland was full of smiles as his Walk of Fame star was unveiled yesterday. It is placed in front of a garage at 7024 Hollywood Boulevard, in honour of 24, and Kiefer was joined by his cast mates from the show, as well as his proud father, Donald Sutherland, whose lap he sat on at one point! Donald gave a speech about watching Kiefer grow into an "astonishingly good" actor, and Kiefer spoke about how he looks forward to visiting the star with his grandson one day.
Kiefer Can Do Sunnies and Specs Appeal Too
Kiefer Sutherland has been jetting around Europe for Monsters vs Aliens, travelling from Germany to England to Italy, and now he's in the City of Love, Paris. Inspired by Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal's romantic strolls in the French capital, Kiefer took some time off from work to enjoy lunch at Chez André with girlfriend Siobhan Bonnouvrier yesterday. He might return to Europe for the 24 movie, which he says could be filmed in London and Prague.
Kiefer Keeps it Casual in NYC and Emotional in 24
Kiefer Sutherland showed off his casual style yet again in a jumper and jeans as he arrived at Ye Waverly Inn in New York City this week. After travelling around Europe promoting Monsters vs Aliens for the last few weeks, Kiefer could no doubt do with a restful few days holed up in a hotel room. Following the confirmation that 24 will return for an eighth season, it looks like life won't be slowing down too much for my favourite action hero, but hopefully Kiefer will still find time for romantic trips with his girlfriend.
Fox's 24 Hour Stars Are in the House of American Idols
LA is teeming with TV stars, and Fox held its Winter 2009 TCA panels yesterday with the casts and crew of 24, Dollhouse and House in attendance, as well as the Osbournes and American Idol judges Paula Abdul and Kara Dioguardi. My girl Molly's got the lowdown straight from Kiefer Sutherland's mouth about the new series of 24: my girl Buzz wants to know are you watching this season?, and I've got a recap quiz on the opening episodes! Hugh Laurie looked happy after his People's Choice win, and Jason Bateman and Will Arnett chatted about their new animated show, Sit Down, Shut Up.
Earmark the 24th For 24: Redemption
As Kiefer Sutherland joins his costars and photographers at an exhibit for the show in Beverley Hills this week, Sky One have stopped teasing us and have finally announced that 24: Redemption will be airing on Sky One on Monday 24 November at 10pm. That's just one day after our friends in the US get to see the two-hour prequel telefilm, which acts as a bridging episode between Day 6 and Day 7. When I asked back in September how you were feeling about this installment, the vast majority of you were excited, and now we've got a confirmed air date the anticipation is building even more.
