Life's a Beach for Kate and Alex
While much of the country was recovering from their Thanksgiving feast on Friday, Kate Walsh continued to enjoy the beach and native wildlife in Hawaii with her husband Alex. She's taking advantage of her unexpected time off due to the writers' strike, but hopefully it won't last too long. Strike negotiations resumed today, and our fingers are crossed that they'll reach an agreement quickly so we won't lose the whole rest of the season.

While lots of us think of Thanksgiving as a time to sit down with friends and family, Kate Walsh decided to turn her holiday into a little romantic getaway instead. She and her husband Alex Young jetted to Maui on Wednesday to trade in their turkey and stuffing for sandy beaches and swims in the ocean. Can't say that we blame them — as much as we love our traditions, you can't go wrong with spending a few days in sunny paradise.
Kate Walsh Gets Married
As expected, Kate Walsh and her fiancé Alex Young got married Saturday night at Ojai Presbyterian Church. The Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice star moved quickly with her man and wasted no time to tie the knot. People reports:
Walsh, 39, wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown as she and Young, 36, exchanged vows at the Ojai Presbyterian Church in the town of Ojai north of Los Angeles.

Kate Walsh and her fiancé Alex Young went from a disagreement to a kiss. The engaged couple must be busy preparing all the final details for their wedding this weekend. We hope Kate knows how to destress on her big day especially considering she's admitted she's already had some freak out moments.

Touring Favourites Victorious At Vodafone Live Music Awards
The 2008 Vodafone Live Music Awards were held at Brixton Academy last night, celebrating the best tours, gigs and live music acts of the past year. Mark Ronson and Kate Nash were honoured with the Best Male and Best Female awards, and Primal Scream picked up two awards for Best Live Act and Outstanding Contribution to Live Music. Emma Bunton took home the Spice Girls' award for Best Live Return, while Take That (sadly not present) were awarded the Tour Of The Year title — having been to it I think this was totally well-deserved!
Backstage at Glastonbury: Wellies, Wigs and Will Young
Glastonbury came and went over the weekend and all the stars were hanging out backstage! Some were performing and some were just out to take in some music, including Will Young, Lily Cole and Kelly Osbourne – who was pictured with boyfriend Luke Worrell wearing some rather fabulous wigs. Doesn't Luke look like he's channeling Noel Fielding?!
Hard Rockin' Mathew Horne
Ever since I started watching Gavin And Stacey I've had a major crush on Mathew Horne, and he was looking particularly gorgeous at The Charlatans live set for The Road To Hard Rock Calling in London last night. Other guests included Alex Zane and Lou Hayter from the New Young Pony Club.
We're likely to see much more of Mathew in the future, not only in the Xmas special of Gavin And Stacey, but in the sketch show he's doing for BBC3 with his co-star James Corden, which will be directed by Kathy Burke.
Kylie, Keira and Kate Dominate the Elle Style Awards
The gorgeous and the glamorous were out in London tonight for Elle magazine's annual Style Awards. To sum up – a smiley Kylie was named Woman of The Year, Keira was their Best Actress, and Kate Hudson was named an Elle Style Icon. Lily Allen turned up in a 'love it or hate it' pale pink floral dress and other Brit beauties Agyness Deyn, Alexa Chung, Jamelia and Pixie Geldof showed up in a range of classic and more extreme looks on the red carpet.
Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "Invest in Love"
This week I felt like Grey's Anatomy is finally getting back on track. The episode has a very sad central focus, as Arizona faces the inevitable loss of a young patient, but was nicely rounded out with the usual relationship issues, comic relief, and a few sweet moments.

The title of this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy says it all.
