British magazine NME held its first-ever award show stateside last night at LA's El Rey theater. Some friendly faces from across the way, like a sunkissed Sienna Miller, "it" model Agyness Deyn, and Kelly Osbourne were amongst the red carpet sweethearts. Miss Miller looks particularly pleased to see Mick Jones from The Clash, who won the Inspiration Award.

Victoria Beckham sure is favouring the fashion of Alice Bands and I can absolutely see why. They're easy to wear, they're fabulous for when your hair isn't cooperating, and they're a stylish accessory. Ever since she went to dinner at Beso in November, she's been spotted wearing them around the world from Milan to Dubai and London.

Estheticians often try to cajole me into getting my eyelashes tinted, but I'm often a lazy wuss. Funnily enough, this is also how I am when it comes to working out — so when FitSugar let me in on her beauty secret, I suddenly realized that eyelash tinting makes sense for a lot of busy women. Here's what Fit says:
As a fitness fanatic, the thing that regularly makes my mascara run faster than my legs is the simple act of sweating that accompanies cardio and swimming.

Hostess Carmen Electra definitely got the party started at a recent Guitar Hero III event. Carmen wasn't the only one testing her musical abilities as she was joined by a few Dallas Cowboy team members, including Tony Romo.
Discussed on Kotaku, all this multi-player action happened over Xbox Live with Carmen rocking out to 'Legends of Rock'.

Since we just celebrated the summer solstice, I thought we should honor it with a summertime playlist. Many of these songs are from the 60s or 70s, but they're tunes we know and love, and they're all about the summer. It's a great little mix for an afternoon jog or BBQ.
