Jennifer Aniston was in LA last week for a wedding with her stylist, but she popped up in NYC last night to take part in the annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway. She joined a handful of actor couples for the evening, including Emily Blunt and John Krasinski as well as Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts. Demi Moore was a lot more covered up than her recent W cover, as she posed with husband Ashton Kutcher.

Bradley Cooper was one of the few lucky men in a sea of beautiful women last night at an art party and auction at the Whitney in NYC. Ali Larter showed off her long legs while Lindsay Price cozied up to her boyfriend Josh Radnor and gushed about their relationship. Bradley's still enjoying The Hangover's big box office success, and with a sequel already on the way he can keep the ladies laughing for at least another year.

In celebration of BCBG's 20th anniversary, the brand's biggest fans attended the Whitney Contemporaries art and auction party in NYC. Models and actresses alike posed and partied the night away in designer Max Azria's stunning frocks. Some opted for his Herve Leger line, while others went straight for Max Azria.

Michael Cera and Jack Black coordinated in purple accents for the premiere of Year One in NYC last night. Their costar Christopher Mintz-Plasse was lucky enough to have gorgeous Zoe Kravitz on his arm, who stood out in her glittery dress among all the funny men on the red carpet. Ed Helms also came out to show his support, and even though The Hangover will be getting some competition at the box office this weekend, he and the boys already have a sequel in the works.

It was a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants reunion in NYC last night as Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel gathered for dinner at Five Points. Blake brought Penn Badgley to fill in as an honorary member of the party. The ladies have branched out with their separate projects these days, but it seems like there's still a solid camaraderie among the girls if they ever want to get together for another sequel.

Tonight, Amber Tamblyn returns to TV for her first series role since Joan of Arcadia. She's playing Detective Casey Shraeger in ABC's The Unusuals, about a group of misfit cops in New York City trying to solve crimes while also battling their own personal neuroses. I'm still a little disappointed that the show isn't about superhero cops, but the crazy personalities in this show — played by Adam Goldberg, Harold Perrineau, and Kai Lennox, among others — make up for that a bit.

ABC's The Unusuals wants to be a different kind of police drama. The show, which will premiere April 8 at 10 p.m., centers around a ragtag bunch of NYPD detectives, each of whom is, well, a little bizarre.

Elegant looks were out in force at Elle's 15th Annual Women In Hollywood tribute event in LA yesterday. The annual event paid tribute to women working successfully in the film industry including Nicole Kidman, Jane Fonda, Isla Fisher, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and Sigourney Weaver. Brit actresses Lena Headey and Kate Beckinsale flew the flag for the UK — I adore Kate's simple one-shouldered white gown.

Last week, Ellen DeGeneres used her blog to speak out against CA Proposition 8, but last night she switched gears to host a party with Portia de Rossi in support of Prop 2. Tobey Maguire, Jared Leto and Amy Smart were just a few of the celebs that came out to support the Proposition regarding treatment of farm animals. Ellen's doing her part to stay politically active before the elections in November, but she's also been enjoying her life as a newlywed.

The Fall TV season hasn't even started yet, and already, at least one network is looking a few months ahead. ABC, which only has one new scripted show (Life on Mars) on its Fall schedule, has picked up three dramas and two comedies for midseason.
Among them: Rob Thomas's Cupid, his remake of his own 1998 show, which now stars Sarah Paulson and Bobby Cannavale (at right).
