Get the Bod: Brooklyn Decker

If you don't know who Brooklyn Decker is, you will soon. Brooklyn landed the coveted Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover this year - she's also married to tennis hottie Andy Roddick. The pics of the 22-year-old fashion model are downright smokin', but looking that good takes some work for the 5-foot-9 svelte beauty, as she shared recently with Us Magazine: "I would be lying if I said genes didn’t have a large part to do with my size and shape, but I have to really work at it."

To stay in shape, Brooklyn defers to one of the 25-minute workouts she learned while filming the Elle Make Better fitness DVD collection. The collection contains three separate workouts - high-intensity cardio, yoga, and body sculpting - that feature Brooklyn alongside celebrity trainers. Brooklyn does at least one of the fitness routines three times a week - I'm thinking a 25-minute session is pretty manageable for even the busiest gals out there! As for which workout she loves best, Brooklyn says it has to be yoga.

"Yoga's probably the thing I held onto most because I noticed it really enhanced my other workouts because I work out like an athlete. I go for long runs or spin classes and I do weights, which I think a lot of women are scared of. I think it’s so important to do weights, because they don’t make you bigger, they make you more lean and toned and all that good stuff."

I love that even if she's too busy for a full workout, Brooklyn says she will take five minutes of her day to just get some squats in. It's a good reminder that every little bit counts and that a few sets of squats are better than no squats at all!

When it comes to chow time, she's definitely keeping it healthy. Instead of a diet that focuses on what she can't have, Brooklyn told MindBodyGreen that she makes a point to eat good tasting foods that are also nutrient rich for her like yogurt, berries, and nuts.

"Nutrition is an amazing thing, and to learn about foods that not only taste good and are full of nutrients for your body, but that also directly affect things like the clarity of your skin, or the texture of your hair- that is something that all women need to know about!"

For breakfast she might have an egg white omelet and dinner might be a big salad with tuna. A regular afternoon snack for Brooklyn is fresh veggies with hummus, which is one of my favorite things to make in the kitchen.

This Just In: Andy Roddick Makes a Gramercy Park Purchase

According to Big Time, Andy Roddick has purchased a pied-a-terre in a former brewery in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood for $1.19 million. The condo loft, according to the listing, boasts, "extra high ceilings, exposed wood beams, exposed brick, wood-burning fireplace, southern exposures [ . . . ] multifloor laundry, storage, and bike room." Considering the recent news that Roddick is engaged to swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker, I speculate that the tennis stud won't be lonely in the one-bedroom, one-bath digs. The newly engaged couple will likely also spend time in Austin, TX, and Boca Raton, FL, where Roddick also owns property. Check out his new pad below.

Fashion Week Has A Little Something For Everyone

Fashion Week continues to rage on in NYC and it is definitely bringing out more than just our usual famous fashionistas. Ashlee and Pete finally ditched their beloved hats at the Fashion Rocks Pre-Party while Andy Roddick partied away the pain of his brutal US Open loss at the Tenjune One Year Anniversary celebration. Emmy Rossum looked gorgeous in her plum colored dress to check out the latest designs from Badgley Mischka with the likes of Teri Hatcher. Clearly the stars are living it up in NYC this week, and we're only just getting started. Nick Does Some Scandal-Free Bowling With Celebs

Celebrities and athletes joined forces again for a little friendly bowling match at Lucky Strike in LA last night. The event benefited The Matt Leinart Foundation, which helps underprivileged and disabled kids, and some of the QB's famous friends like Nick and cute-again Andy came out in support. Lachey looked like he was in much better spirits signing autographs for charity than during the TV interview he cut short the other night. Hopefully he won't have to be asked about those pics any longer. Apparently OK! Magazine has exclusive rights to all of the scandalous photos and videos, and don't plan on leaking them anywhere else. Good for them but bad news for those who really wanted to see naked Nick.

Mandy's Music has a New Sound

Twice in one week - what did we do to deserve this? We asked for more Mandy and here it is. Ms Moore came out to support her ex, Andy Roddick as he hosted the 1st Annual Charity Celebrity Poker Tournament in Miami. We were thrilled to hear that Mandy is back in the studio working on a new album, and now she's telling us some details about the new sound. Apparently it was one of the best experiences of her life. Here's more:

"I love the music I love, and I wanted to make an organic, fresh, live-sounding pop record unlike what's out there now," she said, admitting that she no longer knows where she fits into today's musical landscape. But more than that, the album's also very personal, she said.

"People will take what they want to take from the lyrics," Moore explained. "I don't live my life too much in the public eye, relatively speaking, so I can escape a little bit of that scrutiny. But it is a personal record and it's my first songwriting stab at things, so the lyrics are about what's been going on in my life the last two years, and how I feel about life and love and figuring out who I am and where I fit in. I definitely tried to not take the easy road, and I'm very proud of it. I pushed myself to say exactly what I wanted to say."
