Sep 25 2009 - 2:00pm When I think of mustard-colored clothing paired with a brick-red lip, I can't help but think to the days of the early 1990s, when shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Saved by the Bell ruled the airwaves. But at yesterday's
Power of Women luncheon in LA, Anne Hathaway proved that the dated color combo doesn't have to be so dated after all. By keeping the brown undertones associated with a traditional brick-red lipstick by the wayside, and going for a shade with both light red and golden undertones instead, this version of brick red is fresh and modern.

Is it just me/ my browser, or are there no suggestions really listed?
1There's no suggestions... I was just going to post the same!
Which is a disappointment, because I like brick-reds and was looking for a few shades to pick up.
2No suggestions for me either, but wow, she looks great!
3Yeah, still no suggestions.
This site has become so messed up since the change over.
4No suggestions for me either. Anyway, I've mixed lips hues before and it's a great way to get a really unique colour that you can adjust according to your preferences.
5No suggestions for me too. I love the shade of lipstick, but am not a fan of the dress.
6I have to say that i think this is one trend that should be left behind us... oh and none for me either!
7I'm so sorry, everyone! I'm having our tech team look at it now to see what's up. Thanks!!
8Just when I was about to dump my brick-red lipsticks AND give up on not looking so washed out in my mustard-yellow cashmere cardi from J.Crew I see this. Gah! I love it!
