Nov 16 2009 - 2:30pm Ashlee Simpson covered her
newly dark locks with a hat Saturday as she went through security at LAX. She ditched her signature red color upon finishing up work with
Melrose Place, though it remains to be seen what color Ashlee will need for her next role — she confirmed over the weekend that she's set to make her Broadway debut later this month by
reprising her role as Roxie Hart in Chicago. Ashlee is also the December cover of
Women's Health, and inside the magazine she opens up about her sister Jessica's recent weight controversy by
saying, "My sister has an incredible body.

She looks good. Almost too skinny, but good. I love her hair darker.
1I love it when she dies her hair dark brown or black. I think dark hair really suits her, she looks nice here.
2OK I'm sorry that I'm not going to comment on her hair, but I am soooo tired of hollywood stars on broadway. As an aspiring Broadway actress myself, I know how hard it is and there are hundreds of other people who would love that part but they gave it to her. And I'm not saying that she's not talented, but probably part of the reason why she got it is because she's famous. OK, rant done!
3^ I understand your point totally as I was once an aspiring professional dancer in new york (I was unsuccessful ... sad face), but you know the public is more likely to buy a ticket to see 'chicago starring ashlee simpson' than 'chicago starring polkadots567' ... it sucks but that's just the way it is.
4she's loving the attention and the fact that Jessica gets made fun of...I don't buy her crap...she made an album about being jealous and now she's her #1 supporter
5Asslee is scary talented at changing her nose and her hair color. Maybe she should try cosmetology school, since she failed at singing and acting.
Who would pay money to see this hag attempt to sing live, since we've already seen she can't? Her Superbowl and Saturday Night Live performances are proof.
6Her sister DOES have a better figure...but that's not hard concidering I've seen men with more feminine figures.
7All that money, and this is the best she can do with her hair? There's no depth or dimension - just one monotone color. Yuck.
8These 2 are pretty much only famous for being on twitter these days... other than Ashlee's pathetic attempt to act... what a great career I'm so proud of you 2! [rolls eyes].
9Broadway?! I thought that required talent...
10I've seen Chicago on Broadway and honestly, I'd be less likely to see it again if she was in the cast. Much less Roxie Hart. The lady who played the part had serious pipes (as did the rest of the cast), so either she's gonna get sung out the water, or everyone else will have to dial it down.
I feel bad for the actresses who deserve this part.
