Well, there may not have been any robot suits at this year's BET Awards, but there was plenty of other entertainment, starting with Usher's pyrotechnic performance and continuing through T. We have nothing but love for Madonna, but she was looking a little over the top (even for her) in her fur and layers of gold chains as she headed to tape 106 & Park in NYC yesterday. Maybe she was a bit hung over while she was getting dressed since she admitted to Ryan Seacrest that she and Justin Timberlake partied after their mini-concert Wednesday night. Alesha, Jamelia and Lemar Welcome BET To Britain
Hot on the heels of our PopSugar UK launch, Black Entertainment Television has also hopped over the pond via their new channel on Sky. BET UK shows a mix of the current American output along with some UK-based shows. The launch party took place on Saturday at Cafe De Paris, and a number of stars showed up to celebrate, including Alicia Keys who sang to guests including Jamelia, Alesha Dixon and Lemar.

Beyonce took a break from her vacation in the French Riviera to pick up an award for Best Female R&B Artist. She also literally shined in her insane Balengiaca gear to perform Get Me Bodied last night.
2007 BET Award Winners
At this year's BET Awards, held last night at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Dreamgirls stars Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce came out on top. Each lady brought home two awards: Hudson for Best New Artist and Best Actress, and Beyonce for Best Female R&B Artist along with Video of the Year for "Irreplaceable." Beyonce also gave a whole new meaning to doing "the robot" in her crazy mirrored gold leggings.
The Sh*ttiest Mixtape Boom Box Bet
Take two guys, two mix tapes, one big ass boom box, and one bet. The guy who could create the shittiest mix tape was named the winner. The loser had to swallow his pride (and risk his personal safety!) and hit the mean streets of NYC with both playlists blaring from a boom box.
