Movie Preview: Ben Stiller Plays It Straight in Greenberg

I have a love/hate relationship with Ben Stiller movies. Over the years, I've grown tired of seeing him in the same everyman role again and again (with a few exceptions, like There's Something About Mary), but every now and then he throws a curve ball that pulls me back in. Greenberg already looks like one of the latter films.

The upcoming indie movie from The Squid and the Whale director Noah Baumbach follows Roger Greenberg, a middle-aged New Yorker who heads to LA and decides to "do nothing" in an attempt to figure out his life. The movie looks like it could be a tearjerker, but maybe that's just because LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends" is playing in the background. (The band's James Murphy lends a few new songs to the movie). Rhys Ifans is Roger's best friend while Greta Gerwig is the woman he befriends and beds. Owen Wilson Is One Foxy Little Focker

Ben Stiller was joined by old friend and costar Owen Wilson on the set of Little Fockers in Pasadena yesterday morning. Wilson's upcoming face time in front of the camera in Stiller's latest Focker installment is a break from all his recent voice work. The U2 concert in Pasadena last night brought out many of Hollywood's biggest names. After a weekend with family, David Beckham attended with friends, while Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford turned up side-by-side. Paris Hilton came with her boyfriend Doug and sister Nicky, and Ashley Greene left the Gossip Girl gang to watch the show alongside fellow Twilighters Kellan Lutz and Cam Gigandet. Ryan Phillippe had a boys' evening out with BFF Breckin Meyer, as Olivia Wilde chatted with Ginnifer Goodwin. Orlando Bloom tried to go a little incognito as he played with a mask in the VIP lounge before the whole famous gang went to see Bono and the guys do their thing on stage.

Ben Stiller Meets the Market

Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor have put their 10-bedroom, 11-bath Hollywood Hills compound on the market for a cool $12.5 million.

The 1929 Spanish-style spread includes two houses and a one-bedroom guest house on an acre of lushly landscaped grounds. It boasts beautiful terracotta tiles and colorful inlays, a magnificent pool, an outdoor dining and living area with built-in seating, French doors, three fireplaces, six garage bays, hardwood flooring, and naturally, a home theater. The house looks flawless and is a great example of a California hacienda-style home. But what really impresses me is the property's privacy. Los Angeles has plenty of homes over $10 million sitting on a mere acre, and it baffles me that people would pay so much to live so close to their neighbors. The lush landscaping on Stiller's home though seems to offer ideal seclusion. See photos when you read more.

Heidi Klum draped her baby bump in a chic dress at the Get Schooled initiative conference hosted by Bill and Melinda Gates and their foundation in LA last night. Heidi looked especially happy considering she had Seal as her date for the event after recently talking about her "gentle giant" husband and her body in the final month of pregnancy. Her due date is right around the corner but she has three other kids to remind her of the importance of education especially during back to school time.

"Taylor" is a groovy, uplifting melody (aren't all of JJ's?), but the video is worth five minutes of your life, especially if you're a fan of spaz Ben Stiller. Twilight Stars and Winners Celebrate Their Golden Popcorn

The winners of the night crowded into the press room at the MTV Movie Awards last night in LA. The Twilight cast was the main attraction at the entertaining show, and they all happily posed with their golden popcorn. Kristen was all smiles, sandwiched between Taylor Lautner and fellow best kiss winner Robert Pattinson after the three introduced the exclusive New Moon preview. Zac Efron's acceptance speech was a little awkward after the way it was presented, but he looked perfectly happy with his prize backstage. Cam Gigandet and Ben Stiller also posed with their bounty, while Cameron Diaz stuck with her young costars. Congrats again to all the winners and keep the fun going by voting on how you think Andy did as a host as well as all of Bella and Fab's love it or hate it polls!
