i'm a fan of bret easton ellis and thought american psycho and rules of attraction translated well on screen, so bummer the informers didn't. good reading by the way.
It sounds like they could have done this as an HBO mini series or something...4 or 5 48 minute episodes. I've got a love/hate thing going on with BEE...for his movies, it really depends on
the director. Who is the director on this?
This was absolutely, hands down THE WORST movie I saw at Sundance this year. And probably the worst overall movie I've seen in at least ten years. Two hours of my life I will never get back.
Ugh. I'm amazed this cast all signed up for such a crappy crappy movie.
for those who found it too convoluted or confusing, i would suggest reading the book before hand. I'm an avid Ellis fan and i refuse to believe that any adaptation of his books could be THAT
bad. Unless of course we're talking about the less than zero movie, which did not remain faithful to the book what so ever

that sux. i had high expectations for it. especially since its brad's last film.
1I like a lot of the actors in it, but I honestly really dislike Amer. Psycho and Rules of Attraction, so I might just skip this altogether.

6leslievanhoute - the director is Gregor Jordan. The only other movie of his that I know of is Ned Kelly with Orlando Bloom and Heath Ledger.
