Robert Pattinson Joins Celeb Lineup for George's Haiti Telethon

George Clooney has organised a global telethon in aid of Haiti, which will take place this Friday night - Saturday morning GMT - with a huge lineup of stars volunteering to help out and perform to encourage people to donate money. London will host some musical acts for the telethon, including Rihanna, Bono, Coldplay, Jay-Z and The Edge, while Robert Pattinson is presenting!

His name alone guarantees a huge audience, although other stars confirmed for Friday include - deep breath - Brad Pitt, Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Christina Aguilera, Wyclef Jean, Anna Kendrick, Zac Efron, Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bradley Cooper, Renée Zellweger, Chris Pine, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Colin Farrell, Gabby Sidibe and Emily Blunt!

No doubt more names will be announced and show up for the fantastic cause on Friday night to raise more awareness and ask for donations for the people of Haiti. TV Tonight: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Anniversary Concert

HBO is hosting a special tonight to celebrate the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 25th Anniversary, and the line-up is star-studded. U2, Metallica, Aretha Franklin, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, and other acts each have a segment of the show where they'll be rocking their music, along with a few tunes by other artists who have inspired their work.

I'm glad to see Bruce and his boys here after hearing they might not perform together anytime soon, but what I'm most psyched to watch is the evening's unique musical pairings: Stevie Wonder and John Legend are teaming up to perform "The Way You Make Me Feel," Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and Billy Joel have a duet to "New York State of Mind," and U2, Mick Jagger, and the Black Eyed Peas are coming together for "Gimme Shelter." Awesome! And those are just a sampling of the many collaborations.

The only downside: the show is four hours long (ugh). I don't know if I'll be able to sit through the whole thing without getting fidgety. Still, I'm programming it in my TiVo, so I can watch at my own leisure.

What Artist (Living or Dead) Would You Want to See on Tour?

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band recently played the final show of their tour in Buffalo, but is it the last time we'll see ever them? Springsteen sure made it sound like a goodbye saying, "The E Street Band has come thousands of miles tonight to be here one last time - for a little while." I'm wondering exactly what "a little while" means . . . Was this possibly their swan song?! I would've loved to have been there. They reportedly played for three and a half hours, so I'm sure it was an epic show.

It got me thinking about all of the acts I'd like to catch someday before they go the way of the E Street Band - and a few I wish I could see (at least in a dream world), e.g. Neutral Milk Hotel before they split, the original Weezer lineup, and the most obvious, The Beatles.

So chime in and tell me: which artists (living or dead) would you want to see on tour?

In honor of his 60th birthday (which is today!), Bruce Springsteen decided to mix things up and appear on the cover of AARP The Magazine. Who needs Rolling Stone anyway!

After years of performing, Springsteen still seems wildly popular. And he hasn't really lost his looks, or nice butt, either. Does The Boss turn you on?

Update: Chris Brown has been released after paying his $50,000 bail. There are now reports that the woman involved was Rihanna.

Chris Brown has turned himself in to the LAPD. He's being investigated for an alleged assault against a female that took place after Clive Davis' Pre-Grammys party the night before last. The identity of the woman has still not - and apparently will not - be revealed, though both Chris Brown and Rihanna cancelled their appearances at last night's Grammy Awards. - PopSugar
Usher also pulled out of the Grammy Awards after his wife Tameka Foster suffered a serious injury due to complications from plastic surgery in Brazil. - People
