Jay-Z had plenty of friends to help him get the NYE festivities started early at the grand opening of his new club 40/40 in Las Vegas last night. Beyonce and Solange both went for sparkles with surprisingly tame but still fun and flirty dresses. Jay managed to pull in crowds from all the worlds of entertainment, with Mary J.

So I thought it was strange enough when Comedy Central announced that Flava Flav would be the "honoree" at this year's celebrity roast. What made him deserving: his status as a clock-wearing hype man, or his recent turn as the bachelor star of TV's weirdest dating show? (Granted, this is the network that once roasted Pamela Anderson, so I'm not really looking for logic.) But today, Comedy Central baffled me further by announcing the list of stars who will be roasting the Flav — and the list includes Carrot Top.

It can be hard to find healthy foods that don't break the bank — as I've mentioned before, nutrition often comes with a high price tag. A new tool may be what consumers need to find the biggest health bang for their buck.
The Affordable Nutrition Index (ANI) is a rating system that evaluates food based on its health and price value, and over 300 foods were evaluated and given a nutrition-value-per-dollar score.

Kids (and sometimes adults) can be so cruel. In fact, Julianne Moore even wrote two books in regards to her childhood nickname, Freckleface Strawberry, which she despised. As for me, I didn't really have a nickname growing up, other than simple variations of my first name.
