Robbie Williams kicked off the BBC Electric Proms tonight with a gig that included several new songs from his new album Reality Killed the Video Star. It's been heralded by critics and guests as his official return to the stage, after a faltering performance on The X Factor a fortnight ago. Famous members of the audience included Sir Ian McKellen, Ant McPartlin, Declan Donnelly, Will Young, Geri Halliwell, Chris Evans and James Corden — who was shown in the BBC coverage dancing happily on the balcony.

The South of France was certainly the place to be this weekend: as the Cannes Film Festival came to a close, Jenson Button drove to victory at the Monaco Grand Prix on Saturday. Plenty of celebs enjoyed the sunny F1 race, including Geri Halliwell, Josh Hartnett and Peaches Geldof plus Jesse Metcalfe and new BFF James Blunt! Couples loved the action too, with Chris Evans cuddling his wife, Geri hanging out with her new man Henry Beckwith, and man of the moment Jenson celebrating at the gala dinner with girlfriend Jessica Michibata.

Dakota Fanning continued to wow us with her red carpet style at the premiere of her new movie Push in LA last night. Joining her photo ops were costars Djimon Hounsou and Chris Evans, as well as fab favorite Camilla Belle. It's amazing how we've watched Dakota grow from a child actor right before our eyes, and with a possible role in New Moon, it seems like she's ready to have fun in a few teen films before she settles down in roles as an adult.

Music industry artists and insiders including Take That, Girls Aloud, Mika, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sugababes, Simon Cowell, The Feeling and many more honoured Lucian Grainge, a Universal Music boss, at a hotel in London last night as Lucian Grainge picked up the Music Industry Trust Award last night. It was a fab photo opportunity for the biggest boyband and girlband in the UK (minus Nadine) to get photographed together, making me imagine what an awesome supergroup they'd be! U2 presented the award to Lucian, with Bono saying:
"He's great because he's ready to take on the world for British music, and Irish music for that matter.
