Even though the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards took place a week ago, the hair, makeup, nails, fashion and accessories that we saw on the red carpet will be a part of our style history forever. Whilst FabSugarUS and BellaSugarUS posted live polls on each of the stars as they arrived, FabSugarUK and I have taken a tally at some of the hottest trends and gathered them in a nice little package for your review. Some of my favourite looks from the night include a tanned and sexy Kate Hudson, and an elegantly dressed Diane Kruger, but I'm curious to find out whose looks you like the most.
SAG Winners Bring Their Smiles, Statues to the Press Room
The big winners at Saturday's SAG Awards headed into the press room after picking up their statues. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey were both recognized for their work in 30 Rock, while Christina Hendricks and the cast of Mad Men spoke to the press without Jon Hamm, who was onstage presenting. Diane Kruger and her Inglourious Basterds boys were so excited after their win for Best Ensemble Cast, telling us they texted Brad Pitt to share the good news.

Considering all of the hullabaloo about Christina Hendricks's Golden Globes outfit, I love that she showed up at the SAG Awards in an attention-getting red dress. Looking good is the best revenge, they say. We haven't seen such dramatic eyeliner and smoky eye shadow on Christina in a while, and it definitely brings the focus to her bright blue eyes.
The NYT Thinks Hollywood Is Looking a Little Marilyn
I think FabSugar will totally agree with me when I say: the ladies of the Golden Globes were looking fierce this year! Everyone looked stunning in their dresses and was glowing with fit, healthy smiles. That's why I am questioning two pieces in the New York Times mentioning the weight of the actresses in attendance.
The NYT "Stretches" Christina Hendricks: Intentional or Not?
After the Golden Globes, fashion critic Cathy Horyn published a one-line takedown of actress Christina Hendricks's dress and had a quote from a stylist referring to Christina as "big." Now, while that may seem catty, it could possibly be regarded as a reference to Christina's rather impressive bosom instead of her overall size. (Playing devil's advocate.)
What made the article truly painful was the fact that Christina's picture had been badly stretched horizontally, making her actually appear larger, when in fact she's very svelte.
