Pilot Watch: Cougar Town
The networks have announced their Fall schedules, but which series will be worth watching? Throughout the Summer, as I watch the pilots, I'll be posting my first impressions. Note that a lot can change before a show actually makes it to air, so these aren't reviews, just quick thoughts on how the shows look now.
Jen, Court, and Nicole Aim to Stamp Out Violence
Omnipeace's "Stamp Out Violence" event at STK drew a star-studded crowd including BFFs Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Sheryl Crow, along with Twilight's Ashley Greene. The women spoke about the charity's fight to end violence against women in the Congo, and a pregnant Nicole Richie said, "I'm all about making people aware and showing them what the problem is. It's impossible to turn your back on something like this."
Nicole, Jen, and Courteney Are Fleetwood Mac Fans
The Staples Center is used to hosting a lot of celebrities for Lakers games, but last night there was a new set of famous faces out for the Fleetwood Mac concert. Jennifer Aniston was back on the West Coast after filming The Baster in NYC, joining her BFF Courteney Cox and David Arquette to watch Stevie Nicks and the band. Nicole Richie skipped out on watching her Larry King Live interview and instead tweeted excitedly from the audience with her friend Hayden.
Courteney Takes a Cougar Break For Coco
Courteney Cox stepped into the sunshine after picking up Coco from school in LA yesterday. The past few months have been hectic for Courteney now that she's back to work filming Cougar Town, but she's still making time to go about her regular mom duties. We'll have to wait until the Fall to see if Courteney's new series will be a hit, but either way she still has her first full time job raising Coco.
Courteney Cox Has Her Girls and Her Guy
Courteney Cox joined a ruffled and ripped Isla Fisher yesterday for lunch in LA. The ladies met up recently for a playdate with their daughters, but this time around it was an adults-only meal. Later in the evening, Courteney was also out to celebrate the one year anniversary of STK with David Arquette.

Isla and Courteney Have Tea With a Splash of Coco and Olive
Isla Fisher and Courteney Cox brought Olive and Coco to Chado Tea yesterday in LA and also stopped by James Perse. While Isla might shop with fellow celebrities, Sacha Baron Cohen is working on his own high profile collaboration. Chris Martin, Bono, and possibly Madonna are getting together on a "Dove of Peace" single for the Bruno film.
Courteney, David, and Coco Are a Family of Shoppers
Courteney Cox took a break from filming Cougar Town yesterday to do a little shopping with David and their daughter Coco in Hollywood. The actress has been hard at work on her new show for the past few weeks, but when the cameras stop rolling she's back to her happy family life. David recently revealed that Coco is interested in being a child model, already getting a head start on making a name for herself alongside her famous parents.
Courteney Isn't the Only Cox-Arquette With Work to Do
Courteney Cox was back on the set of Cougar Town yesterday in LA. While she's been hard at work on her upcoming show, her husband David has been focusing on his clothing line, Propr. In a new video David posted on the brand's MySpace page, he revealed that Courteney often advises him to wear "jeans that are tighter" and that their 4-year-old daughter Coco is itching to do some child modeling.
