Eastenders Scoops Seven Inside Soap Awards!
Eastenders was the big winner at the Inside Soap Awards last night, taking home seven of the gongs including Best Soap! Lacey Turner won the Best Actress award for the third year in a row, while the soap also took the Best Bitch and Best Bad Boy awards for Charlie Brooks and Larry Lamb, whose award was presented by his son George. Coronation Street also did very well, taking home five awards including Sexiest Female for Michelle Keegan and Best Young Actor for little Alex Bain!

2009 Bafta Awards — The Nominations
Jonathan Ross will host the Bafta Awards this year, he announced via his Twitter yesterday, and all of the nominations for this year's ceremony have now been released. The ceremony will take place at the Royal Opera House in London on February 8, and Kate Winslet continues her awesome awards season with two nominations in the best actress category, and Slumdog Millionaire has an enormous 11 nominations including Best Actor for lovely Dev Patel! The Critics Pick Heath, Anne, Milk and Slumdog Millionaire
First the people chose then last night the critics awarded an A-list crowd of actors, writers and directors with their favorites. Jason Alexander opened the event asking Brad and Angelina to adopt him before Ben Stiller took home the first award of the night for Tropic Thunder as the Best Comedy. The most moving moment was when Heath Ledger won and director Chris Nolan accepted his award with a standing ovation from the crowd.
