Some of our favorite small screen actors — and at least one high profile TV guest star — stepped out at Madison Square Garden last night for Dave Matthews Band's concert as part of the Stand Up For A Cure series. Fresh from a day filming Ugly Betty Lindsay Lohan posed on the red carpet before watching Samantha Ronson DJ the pre-show. Julia Roberts introduced the main act to an audience including some of the Gossip Girl kids like Chace Crawford, Jessica Szohr and Nicole Fiscella, as well as the always-endearing Damien Fahey among others.

The description of this movie caught my eye largely because of the eclectic cast list: Sissy Spacek, Rebecca Romjin, Drea de Mateo, and . . .

The period in my life when I most enjoyed Dave Matthews has come and gone, and if I never hear "Satellite" again, I will be content. However, I must say that the videos of Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds playing an acoustic set at Radio City Music Hall was a good way to bring this work week to a close.
The duo's gentle strumming and Matthews' sleepy voice lulled me into a mid-afternoon calm that I hope lasts all weekend.

The Earth is getting warmer, but Al Gore just keeps getting cooler, and winning an Oscar certainly didn't hurt. Now, the former vice president is recruiting his cool new friends — including Ludacris, Alicia Keys, Dave Matthews, and The Police — for an earth-shaking concert that will span 24 hours and seven continents called Live Earth.
Yesterday, the organizers revealed a list of performers lined up for the U.S.

My fellow "House" fans, are you as frustrated as I am with the scheduling for this show? I understand "American Idol" is Fox's cash cow, and I know "House" doesn't depend much on continuity, but still. We’ve had just four new episodes this year, and now the show’s gone again until March 27 — though Fox promises a string of nine new episodes once it’s back.

"House" is back tonight after its "American Idol"-imposed hiatus with an episode that looks to be either great or a doozy, depending on your feelings about Dave Matthews.
The Grammy-winning heartthrob of high school girls everywhere is guest-starring as a mentally challenged piano virtuoso in the episode, titled "Half-wit." (You can start making jokes now.) I didn't realize there was a lot of crossover between "House" fans and Dave Matthews fans, but apparently I'm wrong.

OK, I admit. I listened to Dave Matthews Band in the '90s — well into the '90s. Then I realized there was a whole world of music to be discovered and moved on.

While the afternoon took a noticeably somber turn as the news of Heath Ledger's tragic death spread over snowy Park City, the morning was for celebrating as Oscar nomination news came to Sundance. While a lot of the celebrities left with the end of MLK day weekend, there was still swag to be scored for some of them. I was lucky enough to stop by the Pure & Natural Celebrity Eco-Retreat and Iconix "Gift Giving For A Cause" Suite benefiting Save the Children to see all the goodies the celebrities have been snatching up as souvenirs.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, so you know I was pysched to watch him play host on SNL this weekend. And boy, did the guy come prepared. He kicked things off with a ridiculously impressive singing-and-dancing performance of "Make 'Em Laugh" from Singin' in the Rain, but my favorite skit of the night was "The Mellow Show."
