Denzel Washington, Natalie Portman and Tom Hanks were just a few of the celebrities who came out to honor Julia Roberts with the 22nd American Cinematheque Award on Friday Night. Elisabeth Shue starred in some of the most iconic movies of my youth, like The Karate Kid, Adventures in Babysitting and Cocktail. In the later years of her career, however, she hasn't scored too many great roles, so I'm eager to check out Gracie, which was written by Shue's brother Andrew, and which is based on the Shue family's real history. After selling her West Village condo, and moving in with her parents, Natalie Portman is no longer homeless. The bright-eyed beauty has snatched up a 4,866-square-foot, 4-bedrooms, 2-bath 1930s estate in Los Angeles for $3.25 million — $51,000 over the asking price. The property has had a history of celebrity ownership, including Dermot Mulroney and Catherine Keener, and DMB saxophonist LeRoi Moore.

Despite rumors that Graydon Carter was scaling things back for this year's Vanity Fair Oscars party, the soiree was as A-List as ever at its new venue the Sunset Towers. Jennifer Aniston could relax after her presenting duties, and when she and John Mayer hit the party, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. The couple cuddled up every chance they got, and he twittered a sweet message about her.
