Jul 29 2009 - 4:00am Emile Hirsch stepped out of his car and into the street as he headed to a taping of It's On With Alexa Chung in NYC yesterday. His new movie,
Taking Woodstock, hits theaters at the end of August but it seems like Emile is getting a head start on promoting it. The comedy looks different than his role in
Milk, but those of us who have been fans of the actor since The Girl Next Door know he's got the range to shine in all kinds of genres.

i love that he does a lot of different types of movies - and that he's not stuck in a rut. i don't know if i'll necessarily see this one - but i think that it's good that he's branching out.
