Cat-eye liner is never out of style, but it's having a huge red carpet resurgence right now, and celebrities (with their stylists' help, of course) are coming up with increasingly cool and unique new takes on the classic look. Recently, I've seen a ton of gorgeous new looks on some of Hollywood's loveliest ladies, and since the rest of us don't have Pat McGrath to help us out, I decided to do step-by-step breakdowns for 10 of the best looks I've seen lately, so that you can do them yourself at home. They're pretty, sexy, edgy, and perfect for a holiday party.

The GQ's Men of the Year Awards wouldn't be complete without an entourage of Hollywood hotties. That's where Jennifer Carpenter, Jessica Stroup, and Emma Stone come into play. While Jennifer, Jessica, and Emma chose a bodacious black palette, Olivia Wilde and January Jones dazzled in Winter white.

Emma Stone sure knows how to glam it up, doesn't she? At last night's GQ Men of the Year event in LA, the actress wowed in this subtle lavender shadow. Encircling the eyes with makeup can look raccoon-like, but Emma manages to pull it off, thanks to a light touch and a soft-toned shade.

A Note From Buzz: With so many new movies this week, my friend Très was nice enough to apply her scary-movie expertise to review the box office's newest zombie flick.
In the United States of Zombieland, zombies outnumber people. A mad-cow tainted burger tipped the population in favor of the drooling, limping, and grunting set, and now zombies roam a crashed-car littered, empty-minimall-blighted zombiescape.

The soon-to-be-launched Anna Sui For Target line gave Gossip Girl actresses a reason to party it up last night. They met up at the Anna Sui For Target pop-up store in NYC, some wearing pieces from the collection. Jessica Szohr opted for sexy, revealing her midriff; Blake Lively looked classy in a tiered frock; Michelle Trachtenberg went for floral; Emma Stone sported an Anna Sui For Target piece, and Taylor Momsen worked her usual punky self.

Anna Sui launched a Gossip Girl inspired collection of clothes in New York city last night, and several castmembers from the series were there to party! Penn Badgley was the only guy to attend the launch, and got surrounded by his female castmembers Jessica Szohr and Michelle Trachtenberg. Meanwhile his costar and real life girlfriend Blake Lively looked lovely in white, while Taylor Momsen brought some rock chick style to the event with her bleached hair and dark red lipstick.

Following the fabulous Shaun of the Dead, zombie horror comedy flicks have to work a little harder in my book, but I enjoyed the trailer for new movie Zombieland starring Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Bill Murray, Abigain Breslin and Woody Harrelson. With the amusing tagline "Nut up or shut up", the film focuses on two guys and the rules they've worked out to survive in a world overrun with zombies. It's out on November 27 in the UK, so check out the trailer and let me know — will you see it or skip it?

As I mentioned when I came back from Comic-Con, I'm not really big on zombie movies, generally speaking, but after attending the panel there for Zombieland, I'm pretty much sold on this particular zombie movie. They screened the trailer, of course, as well as some funny clips from the movie, including a great scene with Abigail Breslin and Emma Stone as sisters that actually made me kind of sad — before it turned funny. It's really the cast that makes me want to see the film: Jesse Eisenberg is the dorky little guy who gets paired up with the crazy, Southern-drawlin' Woody Harrelson, and the two make for a very fun zombie-fighting team as Eisenberg's character uses the movie to run through the rules for surviving "zombieland."

The '80s are back, and with them zippered jeans. I know, I know, it's trendy, and can be tacky, but look at how Comic-Con empress Emma Stone makes it look cupcake-cute. By pairing her dark blue zippered jeans with an ultra-femme bowed top, she bypassed the retro overtone.

I feel compelled to write about this movie news largely because it's one of the funnier titles I've come across in a while. This modern-day, high school-set re-imagining of The Scarlett Letter just cast Emma Stone in the Hester Prynne-type lead role. And the movie is titled Easy A.
