After the Kanye show at MSG last night, Jay-Z kept the party going at 1Oak in NYC. While his lady was spotted leaving the show, there was no sign of her in the party. Perhaps she stayed away from the party scene for a reason?

- Gary Barlow wants to rival The X Factor with his own pop reality show on the BBC. He is apparently pushing the idea after setting up his own music label, backed by Universal (the arch rival of Simon Cowell's label Sony BMG). The show, which was originally offered to ITV, will involve singing and dancing and could replace Andrew Lloyd Webber’s shows.

Last night Hollywood hosted the LG launch party for the Scarlet HD-TV series, and who better to celebrate than a few of our favorite stars of the small screen? As usual, The Hills gang had lots of representation from LC, Lo, Heidi and Spencer, with a little help from Kristin Cavallari. It wasn't all about reality TV though, as Milo Ventimiglia and Dave Annable added to the few cute male faces among the starlet-studded night.

Fresh off her 21st birthday beach party, Lindsay threw a 4th of July bash in Malibu. Dina, sister Ali and brother Cody were there along with Paris, who we totally thought wasn't friends with LL anymore after the Larry King interview. No word yet on if the two actually hung out together but they were definitely at the same bash.

Us Weekly celebrated in style last night with their annual Hot Hollywood party in where else but LA. Reality shows Dancing With the Stars and The Hills had plenty of representation out on the purple carpet, and Nicky Hilton and Rumer Willis helped to round out the starlet section of the party. Lauren Conrad stuck with her BFF Lo Bosworth, but we've got to wonder if she cozied up with Brody just a little, now that he's back on the market.
