Just when I thought Rachel Bilson couldn't get any cuter, she goes and brings up babies. Not her babies, but babies close to her that may someday grow up into Bilson-like adults. Huzzah!

After some super sleuthing (read: waiting to see photos come up), I uncovered the great mystery of where Rachel Bilson was flying on Wednesday -- NY Fashion Week. I'd heard a rumor that she would make an appearance at some of the runway events, but my hope was quickly waning as days and days of coverage passed with nary a Bilson sighting. Yesterday afternoon, however, my prayers were answered in the form of Ms.

Paris Hilton has been a friend to the slapped together by children heinous avant-garde design team Heatherette for years, but that certainly doesn't mean that she'll pull through in the clutch for her buddies. The heiress was scheduled to appear at the Heatherette runway show yesterday evening (which sounds like it went just swimmingly), but declined to show up, citing a stomach flu. You know, that special type of flu that comes the day after 3AM tequila shots.

Carmen Electra spent some time enjoying Fashion Week (oh, and signing jeans...of course) over the weekend. She looked especially stunning at (and in) Diane von Furstenberg. And some lucky (if you're into that sort of thing) fan (who apparently wasn't into dressing for the event) got a denim upgrade thanks to Carmen's John Hancock.

On Friday evening, many, many designers, fashionistas, and do-gooders gathered together in New York City's Roseland Ballroom in support of trying to help end the atrocities of genocide taking place in Darfur. Since it was the finale of Fall 2007 Fashion Week, the theme of the event was a grand fashion show appropriately titled, Designers for Darfur.
The hosts of the evening were Lydia Hearst Shaw (shown) and Malcolm Harris of Mal Sirrah.

The look at Jill Stuart was Mod, baby. Fashion is repeating itself and we are clearly in the 60s again. We've already caught glimpses of Sienna Miller's Mod looks from Factory Girl and know that stores have been carrying mini shift dresses for months.

Jackie Rogers began her career as an original model for Coco Chanel, a singer, a movie starlet and eventually an owner of a NYC boutique. She made it a point to work with the exciting "Mademoiselle" on some of her collections all the while absorbing her technique. Jackie now has her own line which is no doubt inspired by her mentor.

Friday night, Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet really shined as she debuted her Fall 2007 Collection on the last day of fashion week.
The look was very fresh and could take you from business to cocktail. I adored the white flirty number with crystals on the top and I especially loved the brown tight turtle neck paired with the high waisted multicolored skirt (shown) - very 60s indeed.
