Nicole Richie had Harlow in her arms yesterday for an afternoon of toy shopping in Santa Monica. The girls picked up some goodies from an all-natural toy store as they continue to prepare for the arrival of Harlow's sibling in a few months. Nicole and Joel are also getting ready for their new addition with their recent purchase of a bigger home, where the future family of four will have many happy playdates.

Nicole Richie spent part of her afternoon out and about with Harlow after joining friends for lunch in LA yesterday. Harlow played with her mom's hair, though sometimes even Nicole doesn't love her 'do. Over the weekend Nicole's fringed bag was the perfect accessory at the Kidstock festival where she, Joel and Harlow celebrated art education for children.

Nicole Richie paid homage in her hippie chic style as she and Joel brought Harlow to the Kidstock Festival in LA yesterday joining other celebrities like Jason Bateman and his adorable daughter Francesca. Later on Nicole and Joel skipped out on watching the MTV Movie Awards and opted for dinner together instead. By the time next year's Kidstock rolls around, Nicole will have another baby to bring along and help celebrate at the annual event to support arts programs for kids.

Nicole Richie wasn't about to let a baby bump get in the way of looking hot, rocking sky high Loubs on her way to the CNN building yesterday. Harlow was looking just as stylish with her hair set in pigtails, riding high on her mom's growing belly. Nicole met her dad to film an interview on Larry King Live to help Lionel promote his new album and chat about their family.

Nicole Richie showed off her casual maternity style while out in LA with Joel Madden and Harlow on Friday. Later that night she tweeted to a bikini-clad Miley Cyrus, who had a lot to say about criticizing women's bodies. Nicole's a pro at girl talk, but rumor has it she and Joel will get to see whether it's different raising a boy with baby number two.

Nicole Richie and Harlow Madden spent yesterday afternoon playing together at an LA park. Harlow showed her moves on the slide and even made friends with another toddler on the jungle gym. Speaking of new buddies, InTouch is reporting that Nicole and Joel have been stocking up on blue items and referring to her bump as "he."

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden packed lots of fun activities into their Mother's Day weekend, starting with a hike in LA on Saturday. Yesterday they scooped up Harlow to hit the farmers market and stop for celebratory brunch. Both Nicole and Joel kept their Twitter accounts in business, letting us all know that they finished off the weekend by having dinner with friends including Samantha Ronson.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were a blond duo yesterday as they arrived at LAX with Harlow. The trio was traveling to Miami where Nicole will promote House of Harlow and appear on Regis and Kelly — though Kelly will have to take a break from her poolside bikini time to tape the show. Joel even tweeted an adorable photo of Harlow once they got to Florida for their little family vacation.

The family had a fun low-key weekend as Nicole and Joel continued to joke around and tease each other on Twitter. On Sunday they took a break from technology to give Harlow their full attention before Nicole headed to Miami for business and beach time.
