First Look: The Dead Like Me Movie
With every episode of Pushing Daisies I watch, the sorrier I get that I missed creator Bryan Fuller's 2003 show Dead Like Me. The Showtime series centered on a sassy grim reaper named George, who's tasked with stealing souls. The black comedy lasted for two seasons and developed a serious fan following in the process.
"Lost" Episode 17: "Catch 22"
This week's "Lost" had all of my favorite attributes of a great episode. We got some insightful Desmond flashbacks, a few love-triangle-turned-love-square scenes, and — best of all — the cliffhanger that left us counting the minutes until next week's episode. Daniel Dae Kim and Henry Ian Cusick of Lost made time to stop by Sunday night's Gala event for World Festival: Hawaii's Fashion Week. There they met up with Gabrielle Union, Jasmine Trias of American Idol, and Steve Kemble of Us Weekly's Fashion Police. The World Festival takes place every year at the Ala Moana Center where upscale retailers like Dior and Louis Vuitton unveiled new collections, some exclusively for Hawaii.
