Jump For Joy: Sugababes And The Sex Pistols At IoW Festival

Jun 16, 2008 - A stellar lineup including The Sex Pistols, The Police, Sugababes, Scouting For Girls, The Enemy, Iggy Pop and so many more entertained an audience of celebs and regular folk at the Isle Of Wight Festival this weekend. Those who travelled over to listen to some music included Gavin And Stacey's Mathew Horne who looked super-cool in his Ray Bans, Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt, and Emma Griffiths. Her man Matt Willis was supposed to be presenting coverage for ITV, but is in rehab at the moment – which probably accounts for her moment of sadness among the smiles. - 0 Comments

September's NY Fashion Rocks was a different affair, but last night's party was just as star studded. Feb 09, 2007 - Iggy Pop is old enough to be your dad, but that isn't stopping the veteran punk-rocker from having a MySpace page. (I'm adding him as a friend right now, in fact.) That's because Iggy and his Stooges are reuniting for a series of shows (including one at the Esquire South by Southwest showcase) and a new album, called The Weirdness and coming out March 6. I appreciate the appropriateness of the album title, but I'm not sure how I feel about this just-released track, "My Idea of Fun." - 2 Comments
