Got your tissues handy? Because this trailer's probably going to make you sad and if you're like me (highly prone to crying at trailers) you might shed a tear (or five). Starring Michelle Williams and Ewan McGregor, Incendiary (based on a novel of the same name) is the story of a woman who loses her son and her husband in a suicide bombing, an event made more traumatic by the fact that she witnesses the attack on TV with the man with whom she's having an affair.

Looks like Michelle Williams enjoyed working with Ewan McGregor so much on The Tourist that she signed on to co-star with him again in the British film Incendiary. The two were seen in London filming yesterday and from these pics it seems as if she is channeling her inner teenager with her hot young look. In this movie however, her role is not what these images are projecting.

In case you guys missed the big controversy over the weekend, on Saturday Barack Obama smiled at, shook hands with and accepted a gift from the ever incendiary president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez. They're basically in love.
Critics, like Dick Cheney, say the handshake could make enemies "think they're dealing with a weak president."

Whether you love him or hate him, Rush Limbaugh has been dominating the news cycle. Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel fired the first shot in the latest battle this weekend, calling out Rush as the head of the Republican party.
When it came to the surface that RNC chair Michael Steele criticized Rush as an incendiary "entertainer" Steele quickly apologized to Rush, just like Rahm had dictated.

The 2008 London Film Festival kicked off last Wednesday and ever since there have been all kinds of screenings and film-related events taking place across the capital. On Friday night Liam Neeson, Laura Linney and Romola Garai attended the premiere of their movie The Other Man, while Peter O'Toole, Jeremy Northam and Sam Neill attended the premiere of Dean Stanley. Saturday's Incendiary premiere was not attended by Michelle Williams or Ewan McGregor, but lovely Matthew Macfadyen and young costar Sidney Johnston showed up to support director Sharon Maguire's movie.

Barack Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright wrapped up a weekend of appearances this morning at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. After the somewhat comical and seemingly drawn-out import given to the Wright controversy at the last Democratic debate, I imagine some are ready to retire this topic.
Jeremiah Wright doesn't seem to want to retire it, as much as rebrand it — from a political discussion concerning the beliefs of Barack Obama to a cultural and racial discussion about the state of faith.

Barack Obama has just delivered a speech addressing the spiraling recurrence of questions and debate surrounding remarks made by Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright. The inflammatory statement made by Obama's spiritual adviser led to poll results released yesterday showing that 56 percent of voters would be less likely to vote for Obama given the remarks. Acknowledging that the subject of race has also become unavoidably prominent, Obama boldly and powerfully addressed the effect of both on his candidacy saying,
On one end of the spectrum, we've heard the implication that my candidacy is somehow an exercise in affirmative action; that it's based solely on the desire of wide-eyed liberals to purchase racial reconciliation on the cheap.

A federal appeals court recently ruled that Craigslist would not be held liable for discriminatory ads posted on its site. The lawsuit was brought forth over two years ago, because of housing ads that discriminated against minorities and religion. Though Craigslist was cleared last week as not being responsible, this is another case we've seen lately where a website that has hosted something incendiary or illegal, and we've been forced to question who's to blame.

Heath Ledger was looking all hot and 10 Things I Hate About You-ish walking his baby around Soho, London this week. He even threw a friendly thumbs up to the photographer I can't imagine he was actually happy to see. The Ledger-Williams family is overseas while Michelle shoots Incendiary and Heath is on a break from playing the Joker in the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight.

Michelle Williams was still looking pretty beat up, only not nearly as fake blood covered, on the set of Incendiary in England this week. While she's looking a little down sitting around between takes, she probably just misses Heath and Matilda. That, or she's just really in character -- she does play a woman whose infant and husband die in a soccer game bombing after all.
