The Oscars hosts have finally been announced, and they certainly don't disappoint — Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin will be cohosting the ceremony! The two have worked together several times, including in a 2006 Saturday Night Live sketch, an episode of 30 Rock which aired in the UK on Comedy Central last week, and are soon to be seen costarring with Meryl Streep in It's Complicated — check out the trailer under the jump. What do you think of the Academy's choice?

Though I truly love Father of the Bride and Baby Boom, I'm starting to think that the projects coming from writer/director Nancy Meyers in these later years of her career (like Something's Gotta Give) are only as strong as her casts. And even then, the actors can only do so much. This latest movie from Meyers, It's Complicated, looks cute enough, if a little bland, and it seems to benefit tremendously from the lovable Meryl Streep in the lead role.

Mama Denise Richards fought hard to make her television show Denise Richards: It's Complicated a reality. Lacking fan support or interest, it's not surprising that the foul mouthed mum could be hearing "CUT" a lot sooner than she'd like. According to some sources, the drop in viewership is being attributed to her nasty public custody battles with ex–husband Charlie Sheen over daughters Sam and Lola and her use of four letter words on screen.

Denise Richards has been making her way around the talk show circuit to promote her new show Denise Richards: It's Complicated, which premieres on Monday night. Seems like wherever she goes, drama with Charlie Sheen follows, and this week had more immature banter and mudslinging than ever. It all goes back to the question of whether or not there is such a thing as bad publicity, so tell us — does Denise's drama make you want to watch her show?

Dear Fit,
In college, I was more into sipping cocktails and drinking beer, but recently I started drinking wine with dinner. I love the taste and how it pairs with more complicated dishes I have started to cook. I've noticed that I get this dull headache when I drink it though.

It seems like having tons of animals is nearly a prerequisite for getting a reality show on E! – from Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood to Girls Next Door, multiple pets seem to be this station's norm. I admit I missed new show Denise Richards: It's Complicated when it first aired on Sunday, but caught wind that she had an unbelievable number of pets that were prominently featured in the first episode.

Volunteers who edit Wikipedia each day are quickly teaching the online encyclopedia that freedom and fun are crucial to the democratization of information. Burdened by complicated restrictions and uninterested in the more mundane topics (the most popular entries have already been written), volunteer editors are leaving Wikipedia faster than new ones are joining.
Wikipedia is under constant pressure to police the accuracy of its information, and that typically means leaving the moderation to millions of engaged users.

My father introduced TM (transcendental meditation) to me my senior year of high school as a way to unwind, relax, and fight stress as I headed off to college. Since then, I've always felt lucky to know a kind of secret way to recharge my batteries, without needing a nap. But I was surprised to learn that practicing meditation has another heath benefit for your heart.
