Jack White is a bit of a jack of all trades. Last week his band The Dead Weather released its first album, but that's hardly the only thing on his plate. He's been rocking riotously with former flame Meg White in The White Stripes for more than a decade, jamming with Brendan Benson, Patrick Keeler, and Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs for about half as long, and popping up occasionally on the big screen in the meantime.

One of the things I like best about the documentary Comedian is getting to hear the perspectives of comedians from several different generations, and the new documentary It Might Get Loud looks like it does something similar with a few musicians. It Might Get Loud is "a documentary on the electric guitar from the point of view of three significant rock musicians: the Edge, Jimmy Page and Jack White." White clearly has great admiration for those who have rocked before him, and it's cool to watch these guys talk shop.

Running across this photo of Jack White reminded me of a quick, easy way to look spooky for Halloween. With a few items you already have in your makeup bag, you'll be able to transform yourself into a ghost or garage rocker (take your pick).
You don't have to be naturally pale to look a bit spooky, since the reddish eyes are the biggest part of this look.

Daniel Craig found a way to make his injured arm look dashing at last night's royal London Quantum of Solace screening. The world premiere brought out some very special royalty indeed — Princes William and Harry both graced the red carpet looking dapper in their tuxes. Ever the polite Bond, Craig still found a way to shake William's hand.

Princes William and Harry joined a whole host of stars on the red carpet in London's Leicester Square last night for the Royal World Premiere of Quantum of Solace at the London Film Festival. Daniel Craig looked suitably suave alongside his partner, Satsuki Mitchell, and the famous females in attendance ignored the freezing weather and pulled out all the stops with their slinky outfits. Costars Gemma Arterton and Olga Kurylenko went for bright jewel tones, with Judi Dench wearing the most striking accessory of the night on her back.

Yesterday I asked for your thoughts on Scouting For Girls' tribute song for James Bond, so today I thought it was time to ask you what you think of the official theme tune to Quantum Of Solace.
"Another Way To Die" — a duet between Jack White and Alicia Keys — has been getting plenty of radio airplay recently, and is out now to download.
So let me know what you think; will you spin it?

The idea of a Jack White (of White Stripes) and Alicia Keys collaboration for the next James Bond theme song sounded like it could be awesome, or maybe disastrous. Now we can take a listen to "Another Way to Die" and find out what we're in for when Quantum of Solace comes at us Nov. 14.

This weekend the massive Reading and Leeds festivals took place with performances from Metallica, Dirty Pretty Things, Manic Street Preachers, Rage Against The Machine, The Last Shadow Puppets, Bloc Party and oh so many more. A bored-looking Kate Moss watched from the sound desk as her man Jamie Hince got down on one knee in front of his bandmate Alison Mosshart during The Kills' set. Meanwhile Alexa Chung hung out with Alex Turner and his bandmate Miles Kane on the grass at Leeds – what do you think of her festival look?
