Even though Tony couldn't be there, Eva Longoria Parker had plenty of love from her friends last night at the launch party for her new restaurant Beso in LA. Some of Wisteria Lane's finest Desperate Housewives came out to celebrate, and Bella wants to know how you feel about Nicollette Sheridan's red lipstick. Eva was looking very smiley in her summery white dress, but she did admit that she wasn't feeling one hundred percent calm, saying,
"Everything is painted, every candle is lit, every glass has arrived.

Ryan Gosling was just about the only guy keeping it interesting with his fashion choice at last night's SAG Awards in LA. Along with his shimmery suit, plaid shirt and lack of tie, he wore a black ribbon on his lapel in honor of Heath Ledger. The rest of the men went pretty traditional, but at least all those handsome faces were there to keep us satisfied.

Las Vegas got a little bit shinier last night with the opening of Barneys at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino. A slew of celebrities came out for the festivities, no doubt some of them stopping there on their way to colder climates at Sundance. Fab's got the info on Christina Ricci's cute navy number while Mandy Moore kept it sexy in black.

We already checked out all the red carpet looks and now it's time to get down to the show at last night's Country Music Awards in Nashville. The big winners of the night were Carrie Underwood, who won Female Vocalist of the Year for the second year in a row and Single of the Year for "Before He Cheats," and for the guys Kenny Chesney who won Entertainer of the Year, and Brad Paisley, Male Vocalist of the Year. Check out the full list of winners here.

It was jeans for some (Kid Rock, of course) and gowns for others at last night's 41st Annual Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. Nicole Kidman definitely brought the most bang to the red carpet in her bold dress — sure it looks a little like one of those cheesy college dorm felt-y posters, but it's not like she can't pull it off. Carrie Underwood looked typically great while fellow former Idol-er Kellie Picker looked surprisingly demure for her.

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!
I got a kick out of some of the high-profile groupings that some of you put together for the wholesome Ingalls family, such as kcharb's suggestion of Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon as Charles and Caroline Ingalls.

The Country Music Awards were last night and even some non-country folk like Bon Jovi came to support the show. The big winners of the night were Kenny Chesney, Dolly Parton, American Idol star Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban (who was MIA in rehab - hopefully on his way to recovery). Here's a bunch of the stars like Sheryl Crowe as they made their way into the big event.

Last night it was all about Teri Hatcher at the party celebrating her new Badgley Mischka campaign in West Hollywood. I'm certainly no Teri fan (though I think she's a big enough fan of herself for the both of us), but it's fun to see her costars Felicity Huffman and new on screen hubby James Denton by her side. Stacy Keibler loves a good party as does Brittany Snow, who looked cute, but a little more reserved than this weekend's HOT FUCHSIA number.

Sanjaya Malakar may have been voted off American Idol last week, but it doesn't look like we're free of him just yet. The teenager was selected by People Magazine to attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner, along with lots of celebs and politicians. The event had a less comical tone than usual due to the VA Tech tragedy, but Sanjaya still got his first taste of fame, rubbing elbows with the likes of Teri Hatcher and Petra Nemcova.

The biggest strength of Pineapple Express (out today in the UK) is the brilliant chemistry between Seth Rogen as stoner Dale Denton and the yummy James Franco as his dealer Saul Silver. I have fond memories of the two actors working together when they were younger in one of my favourite TV shows Freaks and Geeks, so seeing them reunited in this movie was fun on a couple of levels for me.
Both Dale and Saul are the typical emotionally-stunted guys you see in a Judd Apatow produced movie (see Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up etc).
