After the Oscars were all the afterparties, and while Vanity Fair and Elton John may have drawn the most star-studded crowds, there seemed to be a celebrity attendee at all of them. Hilary Duff swung by Leeza Gibbons's 1st Annual Night to Make a Difference where she was joined by Paris Hilton and Jessica Biel, who was out of her worst-dressed contending gown and into something more bright. Elsewhere in town Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth walked the red carpet at a party benefiting Children Uniting Nations.

There weren't a whole lot of bright colors for the men on the red carpet at last night's Golden Globes but if it ain't broke, there's no use in fixing it. Even without taking any chances, the boys looked great on a sunny LA day that allowed for some of them to sport their sunglasses. Tom Cruise looked fantastic as his wife was performing her last show on Broadway before immediately heading to LA to meet up with her husband for the after parties.

This Kentucky Derby was full of highs and lows this weekend as the usual slew of celebrities donned their finest hats and preppiest suits to catch the big race. Naturally Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were there and looking ridiculous and even Adrian Grenier cleaned up for the big day — well, kind of. Nick Lachey, his brother Drew and Joey Fatone hosted the after party and didn't look too emotionally scarred by having to see the runner up horse Eight Belles have to be euthanized on the track immediately after breaking both her ankles finishing the race.

When most of us think of singing our hearts out to our favorite tunes, we picture ourselves someplace where we can be alone, like in the shower, and not, say, in the office. But TLC is betting that some folks won't mind singing in front of their coworkers on the channel's new reality competition, The Singing Office.
The show is described as "a tongue-in-cheek singing competition that pits different groups of employees against each other" and will be co-hosted by Dancing With the Stars alums Mel B.

The guys went mostly classy at last night's Grammy awards with a few exceptions — I'm looking at your leather suit, Daughtry. Perennially well-dressed John Legend and Jay-Z were highlights as always and Seal isn't afraid to take a risk. This time that risk included tight white pants and Velcro shoes.

After a quick stop by Fashion Week in NYC, Fergie was back in musical mode at the 4th Annual Peapod Foundation Benefit Concert in LA yesterday. She and John Legend got to practice their big Grammy duet, and Fergie also got to spend some time with her fellow Black Eyed Peas. The outgoing pop star always has plenty to say for herself, and in a recent interview she talked about everything from her man to Josh to her music to addressing those pregnancy rumors.

After his scary Friday afternoon motorcycle accident, George Clooney stepped out in NYC last night for the premiere of Michael Clayton, arm in crutch with his girl Sarah. Broken toes aside, she looked mighty happy to be alongside her man - can't say I blame her. Along with George's costars in the movie a slick looking Brad Pitt, an ugh, why Kate Walsh and sexed-up (surprise, surprise) Ellen Barkin all came out.

Fox and NBC kicked off their karaoke wars this week with the premieres of "The Singing Bee" and "Don't Forget the Lyrics." While I was secretly hoping the shows would slink away into "National Bingo Night"-style obscurity, "The Singing Bee" became the summer's most-watched program on Tuesday, and "Lyrics" held its own on Wednesday (it also airs another new episode tonight). Lest you be confused by the similar-sounding shows, I've put together this handy guide to help you tell them apart:
