Katherine Showers Naleigh With Lots of Birthday Love
Katherine Heigl carried Naleigh on Friday evening as they headed into Katherine's parents' house, where they celebrated her sister Meg's newborn baby. That means a cousin for Naleigh, who's settling into life with the Heigl-Kelleys after her adoption two months ago. The party was also timed perfectly for Naleigh's first birthday today, while Katherine turns 31 tomorrow.
Katherine Heigl to Take Another Leave of Absence From Grey's
Stop me if you've heard this one before — Katherine Heigl is going to be leaving Grey's Anatomy for the second time this season. Though Izzie returns to Seattle Grace/Mercy West on tonight's episode (just in time for the arrival of Kim Raver), Heigl is set to take a belated maternity leave next year to spend time with her newly adopted daughter.
I'm all for spending quality time with family, but this seems a bit suspect — especially given how many times we've heard rumors of Heigl's desire to leave the show.
Katherine and Josh Get Used to Life in LA With Naleigh
Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh spent yesterday afternoon with her mom Nancy and their daughter Naleigh in LA. It's only been a month since little Naleigh joined their family, and Katherine debuted their new addition while in Atlanta filming Life as We Know It. Katherine's break from Grey's Anatomy gives the trio some special time to bond, but the drama back at Seattle Grace is still managing to go full steam ahead.

Katherine Heigl joined up with her Life as We Know It costar Josh Duhamel yesterday in Atlanta. Earlier in the afternoon, she stepped out of her hotel with newly adopted daughter Naleigh — ICYMI, check out all the adorable photos! Katherine Heigl recently announced her plans to adopt a special-needs baby from Korea, and she stepped out in Atlanta earlier today with her new baby Naleigh Kelley! Naleigh is a combination of her first and middle names, Nancy, after Heigl's mother, and Leigh, which is also Katherine's sister's middle name. Mom and daughter are in Atlanta, as Katherine works on Life as We Know It, which is also the reason she's taking a hiatus from working on Grey's Anatomy.
