Leonardo DiCaprio wore a Gators hat when he grabbed food to go in LA on Saturday, and last night he must have been thrilled to watch his beloved Lakers win the NBA championship. While we doubt he'll ever give up his courtside seats, Leonardo did successfully sell his Malibu house, which may mean less time in California for late night bookstore runs with Bar. Leonardo has a number of projects in the works, but we'll see him on the big screen next when Shutter Island is out this Fall — ICYMI, watch the chilling trailer here.

Leonardo DiCaprio has sold his Malibu home for an undisclosed amount, according to the LA Times. The oceanview property was initially put on the market last November for $8.999 million, and was later relisted for $7.999 million.
The 2,374-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bath midcentury oceanfront Malibu home boasts ocean views as well as a separate guest house with two one-bedroom suites.

Within about 20 seconds of watching this trailer for Shutter Island, I had chills. By the time it was drawing to a scary, climactic close (and this is just the trailer, mind you) I was fully spooked. More than most frightening things, the idea of being trapped in an asylum (or a prison) as a presumably sane (or innocent) person disturbs me right to the bone.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli browsed for new reading material on a late Barnes & Noble run last night. On Sunday night Bar was all dolled up at the Young Hollywood Awards while Leo cheered on the Lakers, so they were both ready for a quieter activity. As rumors of a split flare up again, it looks like Leo and Bar are still in each others' lives but would rather stay home with a few good books than flaunt their relationship in public.

The celebrity contingent was strong at the Staples Center for those lucky enough to score seats including season-long supporters Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Kevin Connolly. Leonardo DiCaprio was distracted by his phone as he took a walk through NYC yesterday. He's been a courtside regular at the Staples Center, but Leo's East Coast business pulled him away from Wednesday night's exciting Lakers win. Tonight could be the last game in the series and if the Lakers can beat the Nuggets in Denver, Leo can start worrying about getting those courtside seats along with all the other celebrity fans for the NBA finals.

The Lakers may have lost to the Nuggets last night at the Staples Center, but as usual they had bragging rights when it came to their star-studded audience. Tom Cruise was a welcome fresh face in the crowd, bringing his son Connor along with him in a matching outfit. Season regular Leonardo DiCaprio was also there, drinking beer and smiling as Jake Gyllenhaal concentrated on the game elsewhere in the stands.
