Sex and the City Premiere Glitters in Gold in NYC
Things may have kicked off in the UK, but the SATC girls finally came home to premiere the film at Radio City Music Hall last night. Love 'em or not, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall glittered in their metallic dresses on a pink carpet that was covered with more than 10,000 Swarovski crystals. SJP looked amazing in a very familiar dress (hello, LL in Bazaar superhero photo shoot).

Oscar Swag: Not Just For Movie Stars
Oscars week is a good time for everyone in Hollywood, not just those involved with nominated movies. In fact, you don't even have to be remotely involved with film (I would be talking to you, Lil' Kim, but I know you were in Juwanna Man) to score some free stuff at the swag events. Mischa was in the house and apparently anti clubbing baby seals this weekend as was Hayden who was certainly ready for the ring (though I think she should be careful, cause Lil' Kim did spend some time in the clink).
CW Announces Series Renewals and New Shows
Ashton, Kristen and Haylie all came out to support their fledgling network at the CW Winter TCA press tour last week. The network just announced their series renewals and midseason scheduling plans. Veronica Mars will be experimenting with five non-serialized episodes at the end of the season.
Marc Jacobs Front Row
The hardest ticket in town for fashion week is always Marc Jacobs. The designer packed thousands in for his show which was surprisingly left off of the Olympus Fashion Week schedule by mistake. Oh the horror.

Besides some good performances like JT and B, the rest of the evening was pretty tame. No major shocking events unless you consider Axl Rose blessing us with his presence as newsworthy (we don't). Jack Black was great, and the Tenacious D bits were a bonus.
Lil' Kim To Be Released By Independence Day
Lil' Kim is getting out of jail early. She was sentenced to a year and a day for committing perjury but will be set free on Monday after a short 10 months. Lil' Kim will be released just in time to celebrate Independence Day.
