Friday night was a late one on the NYC set of Sex and the City 2. Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth and Mario Cantone were trying to stay warm while filming scenes at one of Smith Jerrod's movie premieres. Jason Lewis looked hot as ever on the red carpet — not unlike his recent steamy bedding ads.

Miley Cyrus filmed her Sex and the City 2 cameo last night in New York city, where a number of the established cast were also ready to shoot. Sarah Jessica Parker was looking groomed under her big coat to ward off the chill, while Mario Cantone, Willie Garson, Chris Noth and gorgeous Jason Lewis ensured that the men were outnumbering the ladies for once! Kim Cattrall was also on set, and judging by the boots it looks like Samantha and Miley may be pulling a Pink and Shakira at the VMAs with their matching outfits!

Lots of stars from Showtime were out in NYC last night to celebrate the upcoming premieres of Dexter and Californication. Michael C. Hall and Evan Handler were on hand to celebrate their respective programs, while Mary-Louise Parker came out to support her network-mates.

The extended version of the movie hits video stores on Tuesday and the ladies didn't miss the opportunity to throw a party.

The gorgeous women of Sex and the City followed their pink carpet premiere with a star-studded after-party at NYC's MoMa last night. The fab foursome continued to pose together (do you think SJP looked better than LL in that Nina Ricci dress?) as Mario Cantone had fun with some sailors and Jennifer Hudson showed off her second dress of the evening. Even though the night was mostly about the ladies, SJP was accompanied by her proud husband Matthew Broderick, while Candace Bushnell and Anna Wintour brought their men, Charles Askegaard and Shelby Bryan.

The newest Cirque du Soleil show, Wintuk, premiered at MSG last night bringing out some of our most favorite new TV stars — Blake Lively and Ed Westwick (Serena and Chuck) from Gossip Girl. Also out to see the whimsical new show was Abigail Breslin, Leelee Sobieski's tights and cute Hunter Parish, who plays Silas on Weeds.

Conde Nast brought out a random array of stars at the celebration of 20 years of Truth in Travel in NYC yesterday. Always one to stand out in the crowd, Alan Cumming sported a half tuxedo half kilt ensemble while Debra Messing looked good in very basic black. Kim Cattrall took a break from being sassy Samantha in her tame purple dress and posed with fellow SatC alum Mario Cantone.

Two of our favorite rising stars, Shia LaBeouf and Zooey Deschanel, hit the blue carpet this weekend to premiere their new animated movie Surf's Up. In the film, they lend their voices to two penguins headed to the annual World Surfing Penguin Championship. Sounds pretty cute, but we're more excited about Shia and Zooey getting more projects and more exposure lately.
