Rachel Weisz and Max Minghella star in Agora, the story of philosopher Hypatia (Rachel), who Davus — a slave — falls in love with, set against the backdrop of Roman occupied Egypt, as the rise of Christianity threatens to overthrow the Roman empire in the country. It's out in the UK later this year, so check out the trailer and let me know what you think — will you see it or skip it?

The story being told in Agora is so interesting, it would be a shame if the movie itself turns out to be lame, but so far I feel kind of lukewarm about the trailer. Meanwhile over the weekend, there were plenty of red carpet premieres including Taking Woodstock, Agora and Vengeance with stars including Rachel Weisz, Michelle Yeoh, Evangeline Lilly, Max Minghella, Emile Hirsch, Demitri Martin, Monica Belluci, and Tilda Swinton. Meanwhile the weekend's parties and social events attracted Paris Hilton, Peaches Geldof, Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish, VV Brown, Deborah Harry, Olivia Palermo and many more.

There was a rumor earlier today that a Josh Schwartz alum, Mischa Barton, was going to guest star on the show but alas she turned the offer down.

Sienna was spotted on the set of her new film Hippie Hippie Shake with her "good friend" and "house guest," Rhys Ifans. The two were also caught getting cozy at a wedding over the weekend, so we're not sure how much longer they can deny their romance. Sienna was also sharing peace and love with her co-stars, the Irish actor Cillian Murphy and the indie film darling Max Minghella (son of acclaimed director Anthony Minghella).

Last night right in the heat of NYC summer, Sienna and Savannah Miller debuted the Spring 2008 line for Twenty8Twelve. For some reason (all the blue and white, perhaps), the party looked downright refreshing. The sisters were the women of the hour, playing host to celebrity guests like Anne, whom the lighting made look almost translucent.

Last night, Sienna and her sister Savannah launched the debut Spring 2008 collection of their line Twenty8Twelve. The inspiration for the new collection? "Patti Smith, Keith Richards, free-thinking, radical people who aren't influenced by others," Sienna told Instyle.
