And the Billy Bob Thornton Parodies Start Flooding In...
As some of you may know, Billy Bob Thornton was recently outed as a major douchebag. He showed up with his band the Boxmasters to a live radio interview, and because the interviewer mentioned in his introduction that Billy Bob was (gasp!) an actor and not, I don't know, a Rock God — he sulked, stopped answering questions like a normal person, and in general acted like a petulant, self-important baby. 2009 Bafta Awards — The Nominations
Jonathan Ross will host the Bafta Awards this year, he announced via his Twitter yesterday, and all of the nominations for this year's ceremony have now been released. The ceremony will take place at the Royal Opera House in London on February 8, and Kate Winslet continues her awesome awards season with two nominations in the best actress category, and Slumdog Millionaire has an enormous 11 nominations including Best Actor for lovely Dev Patel! Thandie Newton, fresh from celebrating the history of couture in London, was in attendance to promote the film along with David and her co-star Simon Pegg. Thandie looked pretty and petite as usual with her cute husband, Oliver Parker, by her side.
