Ashton and Charlize Take In a Match
Charlize Theron and Ashton Kutcher headed to Pasadena last night for the World Football Challenge. The action on the field was between the Chelsea and Inter Milan, but Ashton and Charlize kept the photographers busy on the sidelines and blue carpet. Charlize spoke before the match in her black dress about how her charity, the Africa Outreach Project, is organizing soccer games for underprivileged kids in South Africa.

American Idol's Carly Smithson looked happy to be returning to the mother country as she arrived in Dublin with her husband yesterday. I thought Carly and Australian Michael Johns were great contestants and possible Idol winners, but Carly got voted out mid-way through and Michael didn't even make the top seven. I'm not sure a non-American could ever be voted the winner, but I want to know what you think.

As I watched all of those sparkling song and dance numbers during the American Idol finale, I couldn't help but remember the good old days when Michael Johns had a shot at winning and Carly Smithson was surely destined for the top three. It was good to see them again!

A Hot Night For Hollywood's Real(ity) TV Stars
Us Weekly celebrated in style last night with their annual Hot Hollywood party in where else but LA. Reality shows Dancing With the Stars and The Hills had plenty of representation out on the purple carpet, and Nicky Hilton and Rumer Willis helped to round out the starlet section of the party. Lauren Conrad stuck with her BFF Lo Bosworth, but we've got to wonder if she cozied up with Brody just a little, now that he's back on the market.
