British magazine NME held its first-ever award show stateside last night at LA's El Rey theater. Some friendly faces from across the way, like a sunkissed Sienna Miller, "it" model Agyness Deyn, and Kelly Osbourne were amongst the red carpet sweethearts. Miss Miller looks particularly pleased to see Mick Jones from The Clash, who won the Inspiration Award.

Despite rumors that Graydon Carter was scaling things back for this year's Vanity Fair Oscars party, the soiree was as A-List as ever at its new venue the Sunset Towers. Jennifer Aniston could relax after her presenting duties, and when she and John Mayer hit the party, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. The first USA NME Awards ceremony was held in LA last night, and a few British guests showed up to represent the magazine's homeland. Beautiful blondes Agyness Deyn and Sienna Miller showed up, looking stunning. Is it me or is Sienna totally channeling Gossip Girl's Serena?

Oh, what I would give to travel back to the '60s and be a fly on the wall when Anita Pallenberg, once common-law wife of Rolling Stones' Keith Richards, ruled the rock 'n roll scene. It was a largely male-dominated industry, yet Anita had a unique musical influence over the band.
Born on January 25, 1946 in Rome, Italy, Anita was a model, actress, and has more recently become a fashion designer.

Musos and their followers were out in force for the NME Awards at the IndigO2 this evening. Arctic Monkeys won three awards (Best Band, Best Track and Best Video) out of the seven they were nominated for, making it three years in a row that they've won three awards! NME's Hero Of The Year award went to Pete Doherty (why?) and Brit winner Kate Nash won Best Solo Act.
