Mischa Barton Hits the Clubs Hard in London
Mischa Barton hit Whiskey Mist in London last night, though once she was kicked out of the ladies' bathroom she moved on to Bungalow 8 with her pal Harley Viera-Newton. While Mischa's no stranger to the British social scene, she's also in town for work — she helped open the Harrods Summer sale on Saturday. Mischa has also been busy filming her upcoming TV series The Beautiful Life, and a few of her film projects might be coming our way soon too.

Movie Preview: The Assassination of a High School President
Not long ago I watched Rocket Science for a second time and was struck all over again by how superbly Reece Thompson (pictured, right) captures the whole Awkward Teen thing. In Assassination of a High School President, he's at it again — though this time his character is ever so slightly cooler and more self-assured than Rocket Science's Hal. In Assassination he plays a sophomore high school student who finds himself teaming up with an unlikely friend, popular girl Francesca Fachini (Mischa Barton), to solve a case of stolen SAT exams.
The "Scary" Homecoming Trailer Makes Me LOL
Homecoming, starring Mischa Barton and 90210's Jessica Stroup, looks like one of those "scary" movies that just makes people laugh hysterically. It misses the mark entirely when it comes to suspense but works quite well as a comedy. Stroup plays the new girlfriend of a guy (Matt Long) who used to date this crazy obsessed girl (Barton).
The Beautiful Life: A Longer Look
Models and The CW go together like mashed potatoes and gravy, so I've been curious to see more about The Beautiful Life, the Ashton Kutcher-produced drama series that the network picked up at last month's Upfronts. The show focuses on a group of models living together and trying to make it big in New York, with Mischa Barton and Corbin Bleu among the stars.
The new, extended trailer the network released this week looks a little different from what I'd been expecting.
Mischa's Moscow Modeling Interferes With Her Beautiful Life
Mischa Barton stood out in yellow as she left Bardot in LA last night. The actress had reason to celebrate now that her new TV series, The Beautiful Life, has been picked up by the CW for its Fall schedule, and you can check out clips from her new show here. Mischa skipped out on attending the network's Upfronts due to a scheduling conflict with a modeling assignment in Moscow, but she was conveniently back in time to party in Hollywood later that evening.

Trend Alert: Centre Parts at the 2009 BAFTA TV Awards
Last night at the Television BAFTA Awards, the most popular hairstyle of the evening was centre parts. This is a familiar style that we typically see on celebrities at affairs. I love the way the lengths on those that wore their hair down was unstructured and for Louise Redknapp and Tamara Beckwith, they let tendrils fall loosely to the wayside for a more casual effect.
