Nicole Richie embraced the Spring weather in LA earlier today and broke out her denim shorts for a morning playdate with Harlow. The girls had a shaky start to the day, after waking up during the 4.4 earthquake that hit Southern California before dawn. Harlow didn't seem too fazed, though, as she held hands with her friend after their trip to a children's gym.

Nicole Richie brought Harlow along on Wednesday for a trip to a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in LA, with Harlow toting her own big icy drink on the way out. It was a big week for the Richie-Madden clan, starting off with Joel's turn as DJ at the Oscars on Sunday. They also made the afterparty rounds, and the celebrations continued on Wednesday when Joel turned 31.

Rachel Zoe picked a YSL dress in a simple black, which looks fantastic alongside Chace Crawford's classic tux. Salma Hayek and Hayden Panettiere added a little color to the proceedings, while Victoria Beckham picked a gown from her own upcoming Fall collection.
